nwakibie3:So you don't know where INEC office and B division police station in Awka is? Instead of you to take a walk to those places OP mentioned and confirm the news for us here, you are rather probably inside your room asking where in Awka when specific places have been mentioned in the report. 1 Like |

Jman06:The educational deterioration in the South West is what brought in this misfit of a president and near destruction of Nigeria. How many supposed educated Yorubas accepted and championed the election of a man with no certificate and past records of antidemocratic behaviors leave many to question the quality of their education. |

Joromi1:This is not the solution either. At this formative stage, government can solve this insecurity menace in SE n SS through dialogue.Extend the olive branch to them,if they refuse,ehehh....... u can then match them with fire for fire. That's why I will forever respect late president Yar'adua. If he had wanted using force on ND militants back then,he wud av killed a lot of them..oo,but the insecurity situation in dat region wud av bin worse than wot we now av in NE by now.And Nigerian economy wud av plunged into perpetual recession cos dat is the major economic zone of the country. So leave this military confrontation, explore peaceful means of settlement first if it fails,u can then use force.Yaradua succeded, other presidents can too. |

Black people understand nothing but violence, if you're a gentle man in this country, na sorry be your name. Until everywhere is up in flames before the constituted authorities understand this system is not working. They think they can belly people into submission as usual. |

I think the elders in the land must call themselves together and speak to their youth who have taken the law into their hands.two wrongs can never make a right ,we must fight legitimately ..BUHARY is in ABUJA and some folks are killing innocent people who are going about their civil duties ..killing them and throwing their dependent families into misery ..something must be done very fast because the military has the right to descend heavily on those perpetrating such wickedness. By the time the launch into action many innocents soul will partake in the effects |

Odogwu cmoni wrote from Awka Anambra state Ignore the fake news! INEC office and B division are intact..none was burnt as police repelled the cowardly attacks. Some of my friends drove past Aroma junction b4 and after the incident..they reported no inferno. We were together..we drank..gisted and played Marley till 2am. So I was shocked at the fake news flying around this morning. I called my friend who works around the area to find out. He told me that their own office was burnt too! I told him that the police debunked the news and he said I should wait so that he will confirm. So you haven't even been to your office this morning yet you have been telling people that it was burnt?? Of course, he's a closet IPOBist. So I decided to see things for myself and you can also see for yourself. Now hear this..their strategy is to magnify these attacks via willing and ignorant foot soldiers on social media..this one happened around me..of course, there was an attack with sporadic gunshots but mostly from the police as the cowards threw a few petrol bombs around Ekwueme square and went to rob innocent people nearby. Details of casualties are sketchy but please no office was burnt. Next time when you read fake news dont share..wait for confirmation from great patriots like us..the job of securing the SE is a collective one and we must start with putting the right info out there. God bless Anambra state! |
