Cceemmaa: Hello Cceemmaa, There is no study progression if after LL.B you opt for a Paralegal study. There are different law concentrations today. If possible, consider entertainment law as it is only becoming popular in Nigeria law society. There is also business law, which is very lucrative and easy to demonstrate prospect plans regarding the study. Go for a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma or Graduate Diploma in Business Law or Entertainment Law. Best of Luck 2 Likes |

Bunmijab: Hello Bunmijab, There is no harm in applying with your current/active passport. When filling the IMM 1294e Form, there is a column created for applicants to enter their alias or other names being referred as. In this column, you can key in your spouse's name. You should do an with a notary public to support your marriage certificate and wedding pictures. If you think there is time for you to do a newspaper change of name, then do it too otherwise, the previously mentioned is safe to serve as proof. If IRCC needs further evidence, it will be requested. Given the recent development surrounding PP issuance and renewing in Nigeria, it could take much time to get a new PP bearing your spouse's name. Lastly, with the above said in paragraphs 1 & 2, and with a letter, you can easily demonstrate an adequate relationship with your brother-in-law. Rest assured that using your current PP won't/isn't a red flag. Best of Luck 3 Likes |

Please, I want to be clear about something concerning to the Financial statement (proof of funds). During this application process, must I always keep my account balance up with what I stated in my SOP ? I used to have 12m when I submitted my financial statement, but I had to use 9m on something, I have 3m left in my account now, I hope that will not be a problem ? |

EPICUnleashed: Hello EPICUnleashed, Note that this advice is not limited to the following documents. However, it boils down to the nature of the organization and how well organized it is. You can show: • Membership certificate/card • ID card • Photos when on mission outreach • Awards • Training/Volunteering certificate(s) • Welcoming or acceptance email correspondence received upon becoming a member or as the case may be (preferably non-commercial email) • Newspaper or publications on articles of your active participation/services in the name of the organizational outreaches or missions • Organization web page where you are recognized as a bona fide member, etc • Printed program copy, brochure, pamphlet, flyer, etc having you as host or participating host/member or being recognized • A screenshot of the organizational social media page(s) recognizing you either by image upload or by appreciating your contributions by your full name acknowledgment • ...etc. Please, kindly Follow GCMSWriters on Instagram/Twitter for rich Canada immigration updates and others. Mofpearl: Hello Mofpearl, Being a while and how have studies been? You mean applying for SP extension right or what do you imply by reapplying after an approval? Based on the seek information, there is no reason here to panic. What is currently showing on your timeline is normal and you may receive an instruction to go for one soon or it may return to the normal generic display timeline narrative. Since you were initially advised to do one, it will be better if you consider doing upfront medicals to avoid delays. Best of Luck |

KejiA: Hello KejiA, The remaining 11 days of quarantine can be done in a shared apartment (with available spaces) and with no presence of vulnerable persons like children or elderlies. Even if there are children or elderly, you should not share a room, toilet, and even utensils; and if you must walk around, you must have a facemask on. Best of Luck 1 Like |

Jojo257: Hello Jojo257, It is not always asked and if does, it is triggered by the discretion of the CBSA officer and this may not be the case for others. If asked and you haven't, but have the deposit payment receipt, boldly enlighten the officer of the DLI's tuition payment instruction and present the available evidence. If there is none (a receipt of payment or otherwise), simply state that you were instructed to make payment upon class resumption or your sponsor will make the payment from your home country before class resumption. n.b. the questions or things being asked at the POE do not follow a generic transcript and could take between 1min – 3mins, more or less) followed with warm, charming, calm, and friendly smiles. Is it advisable to add your spouse to your student visa application? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by JustMellow: 6:44pm On May 24, 2021 |
gracedson: Hello Gracedson, It will not necessarily be a problem if the officer does not request an updated BS from you. It is advised to have the funds readily available and easily accessible just in case an updated BS is requested. Nobody expects you, especially if you are a business to tie your funds down, but in all this, the funds should be readily available/accessible. Best of Luck 1 Like |

opeoyek: Hello Opeoyek, It is only advised if you and/or your spouse (accompanying) have the financial capacity, reliable source of funds, and good socioeconomic (home) ties. Other than this, not advised. Best of Luck 1 Like 1 Share |
