Which a time will the bank will tell u that ur service is no longer needed cus u are na old. The fear of starting a fresh is what makes people to waste their times in banking industry as a bank contract staff with salary of 40k. He need to move on cus 40k salary will never help him in the future he need to take bold steps before is too late for him. They can ask him to go at any time

First question should be exactly what sort of “banking job” does your friend do?
Because not everyone who works in a bank is doing a banking job, and I know hotel waiters who earn N40K.

To be sincere, Keke business is far better than 40k banking job on one condition, if your guy is a rugged guy and a hustler. The reason why I'm saying this is because if he is not a rugged guy some situation may arise like facing the Agbero boys and other extortion officers he may be discouraged, but if he is a rugged guy who is willing to fight for his right, I will encourage him to go for the Keke business and I promise you that withing one year he will be a big boy! All he needs not to do anything is lack a Savings culture which over 95% of people bank staff inclusive lack. They complain about having nothing whereas they ain't saving.

I see. In that case, I would say he should thread carefully. Perhaps he should save up while still working at the bank till he can buy his own keke because that hire purchase business can be dicey. If the keke starts having problems he will bear the cost of repairs not to mention other unforeseen circumstances that could make the whole venture turn into a nightmare situation. He can consider going into agriculture, like ugu farming or other fast growing and moving produce, and grow from there. I wish him all the best.
