It appears to me that China has chosen to remain patriarchal. In other gynocentric societies like France. If you presume that the child you are fathering might not be yours. You have to ask permission from a judge before you can conduct a DNA test. And if the test comes out negative. You can sue your spouse for paternity fraud and request reimbursement of funds. But the judge would make decisions in the best interest of that child. E.g: if you have been in that child's life for too long, you will be denied reimbursement and be commanded to maintain your relationship with the child and the mother.

In most cases the judge withholds authorization and performing a DNA test without it is illegal. What's to stop a woman from tugging any man to court and averring he is the father of her child. There is no impediment.
