Pls i need help with the link and how to download GCam for R9t, my camera quality seems to be poor.
Thanks

Let us see the samples of the camera. Most people that complain of this even after they download GCam they still complain not knowing that it is in the way they take pictures not the phone.

Though a core xiaomi fan, but miui really sucks
miui 12.5 update seem to be better, but it doesn't come close the ultimate android experience! The android experience on the Google pixel I'm used to has spoilt me cry

The front and back camera

What I see is hand shaky while capturing and you don't wait for the camera to focus before clicking the shutter button.

Let them go and buy google pixel or oneplus if they want a near stock android experience and leave miui to those that love it. Abi dem don finish for market? Oh they would rather buy xiaomi cos of its value for money and still lament about the software. LMAO.

You're actually the one sounding funny. Most ( including myself) buy Xiaomi phones because they provide the best value for money as far as specs is concerned.

Nevertheless, it doesn't annihilate the fact that their software is so lagging behind.

That one sees a reason to buy a material doesn't preclude him from pointing out its flaws (if there be any)

Their software is not lagging behind..

It is what it is..

Some of the softwares that are being implemented on Vanilla Android today, have been in existence on MIUI for ages and are done better..

People talk about Google and Stock Android..

Well..

I have used Stock Android and it is Boring..

And it SUCKS..

THAT is my personal opinion.. grin

Now if this were to be the case , why are you still buying their devices when there are literally other options?

I don't use xiaomi as a daily driver but i opted for another brand cos i feel that brand has literally all i need, so why should i then buy xiaomi then keep complaining about it when no be say dem force me?

But we all can't have/see perfection in the same product/brand. We have some that are using Xiaomi phones cuz of its miui while some are cuz of value for money compared with the other top brands.

I once used a google pixel device and vowed never to go back again. Camera is great but my God that software is damn boring. It shows that one man's meat is another man's poison. grin

Look for mi mover in the settings of both phones, it'll take care of the migration for you

Use latest Mi Mover and be sure your File Manager/Gallery app is up to date, else, it won't move all your gallery files. Also, you may lose some records of call register and Messages if you're moving from Mi Dialer/message to Google dialer/messenger.

the simplicity and consistency across the UI is what makes it the ultimate experience. iOS for example, is consistent across the UI. Stock android does the same. Android OEMs really need to tone down their customization and let the stock android be visible in the UI. Reason why Samsung is winning big with One UI, same with Oxygen Os by Oneplus. I just left iOS, I don’t want to use anything that resembles a horrible clone of iOS, and that’s what MIUI looks like!

Why are you contradicting yourself man, MIUI can't be an iOS clone then still be loaded with customisations which we all know is practically nonexistent on iOS.
That old iOS clone cliche was so yesterday!

MIUI now use a app drawer in addition to themes (fonts, sounds & icon), live/dynamic wallpapers, AOD for the AMOLED junkies etc. Even 800k iPhones don't have any of these features so where's the clone tag coming from?

They added the new control centre which can be disable so what? Do you know how many unique customisation features of OEMs that have been copied by pure Android and iOS?

One day for bank as one security man dey admire my phone dey ask about the brand. The guy just dey reason the phone and amount. I first dey shame before say people no too Sabi the brand for there. But as the young guy for my front just look the phone once, asked ~ is this "Redmi Note 9 pro". Omo I just smile, nod yes!! The joy wey that gesture give me ehn. No be here... EUPHORIA!! grin grin

People don dey know of Xiaomi oo, no let Transsion deceive Una. If Xiaomi wasn't doing well and stealing some market share you'll never see latest G80/85, G90T/G95 chipset on any Transsion phone by 2021. That one for be vision 2025!!

Xiaomi actually doubled its market share in 2020 In Naija and Africa.
cheesy You're right. People are now realising the truth.
