Raising cattle should not be indigenous to a particular tribe. Anyone and everyone can raise cattle.

If FG is proposing creating forest reserves for cattle ranching, then the reserves should be operated and used by people indigenous to the states of their establishment. And the reserves should be equitably distributed across all the geopolitical zones.

Yoruba, Igbo, Efik, Ibibio, etc can also rear cows.

However, I don't understand why suddenly FG is more interested in cattle rearing than in refining of crude, that is squandering our foreign reserves and setting us into an inflation spike.

This is the reason why it's good to speak up, had it been the southern politician have been doing that since 2015, we won't be in this mess.

Mr Shehu tell your boss that he has no say on the issue. The governor and house of representatives of every state, has the power and right to enact a law to ban open grazing of cows immediately. Our constitution says free movement of persons, not movement of cows destroying farmlands and leading to killings by fulani herdsmen. Our constitution does not recognize cows, it recognize citizens.

It's funny every solution to this so called intractable problem doesn't involve herdsmen changing their behavior first. They should go buy or lease land. That's a solution to everyone's problem. Second what happened to the NLTP that you guys were talking about? The willing northern states said they donated land so, why they move there and do business?

Don’t mind them, if u give them grazing reserve it will not stop the bandits and kidnapping being perpetuated using the forests. They will still carry weapons. Some will disobey instructions after bring their families and all manners of unknown people to same forest reserves. It short we should give the a community in our forest reserves to operate freely. That is what is currently casing kidnappings in kaduna. Bandits use the herdsmen or the herdsmen work with them to cause mayhem.
