Is Nigeria itself stable ? Niger,Chad,Mali Libya are now the preferred allies of Nigeria under this evil regime of mallam Buhari ! Good ,prosperous and economic stable countries in Africa like South Africa,Rwanda,Botswana etc are never on his radar ! Why should we care if the Libyans,Nigerienes,Chadians,Malians, etc decide to kill and bomb themselves to stone age as long as our borders are well secured ? Won't we have a lot more to benefit if we forge a better and stronger relationship with even countries like Benin republic,Togo,Ghana,Ivory Coast and other relatively stable and focused countries in Africa ? If Nigerians survive Buhari, nothing again can ever overcome them ! |

Too late. Invasion of Libya is own of the reasons for Boko Haram militarisation. All African countries should have opposed NATO and its allies intervention. |

Sterope: When they are just puppets and are corrupt and know that stacks of their loots is sitting in these Western countries. How do you expect them to oppose it? Also Did Ghaddafi do himself any good? Killing off political opponents, mass incarceration .it's not that hard to believe that no one actually tried to salvage the situation. It was obvious giving how previous violent regime changes ended. 1 Like |

Gaddafi recruited and armed men from our part of Africa to fight on his behalf (Niger etc). The western countries assisted the rebels. Some of these rebels have some connection with ISIS and co. Some of these rebels ebagaged in human trafficking. The EU government also pay them to keep people trying to cross into EU in Libya. What do you think was going to happen after Gaddafi died? ![]() Blackdisciple: |

The countries you mentioned have longer history with the North than the Southern par tof the country. Also Niger, France and Libya have significantly contributed to where we are. OROSUNBOLB: |

If Nigeria was actually at the level it is supposed to be, there is no reason why we cannot have active military bases in most of the strategic African countries. |
