my brother i have checked what you said i should check and once again baba i repeat its not radautowork is no where near what is on my list i swear my brother. Na 3 things dey delay me , hosting , domain name and internet. Make i just hint you in case you don't know, part of my major plan is to build the largest online spare part store where you can get almost all the part you want here in nigeria but mostly tokunbo. That's 1 out of 10. There is an API which you can integrate into your website to filter all the part needed by your client from A _ Z.

Avoid competition it cause limitation, instead set your own goals and pursue it with all passion and humility. So stop comparing what people already made or have done it's a sign of jealousy or saying they aren't doing well or that you'd done better off if given the same chance. How sure can you be? Everyone has what he wishes for themselves so they could be satisfied with the level attained.

I wish you good luck in your dream, thanks for the insight I was only wondering what you actually meant by the business name online mechanic... It sound weird but now that you say its fine.

Good luck again.

Avoiding your competitors is a blue print to failure ...you rather keep a spy on them and beat them with innovation.

Competition I said not competitors oga.

Competition as defined by dictionary is, the activity or condition of striving to gain or win something by defeating or establishing superiority over others.

So look deeply into this definition then ask yourself, do you really want to go into competition with anyone? From this definition competition is not totally good

These three things you mentioned are of very low cost compared to what you just laid down (35k - 50k at most).

It's good to think big but don't let it drive you into the well.

I suggest you add Volvo S40, S60 05/08 model to your options and also Peagout 406, I'll ranke them above your two main choice.

Though we all have different taste and view shall but if I'm to choose among those two I'll go with the Nissan. But bear in mind all of these cars are difficult to resell by the time you're fed up with it. So consider that.

That resell part is the main thing. After 2 years of using my 2009 Corolla, I decided to put it on sale last month. Within few days, buyers were literally fighting on it. I con make more interest sef. Guys, if I'm to buy cars again and again, na corolla. grin

bro forget replying to that fellow. he himself doesn't even know what he is saying. you must first be behind someone before you can overtake them but some people delibrately chose to stay behind that same person till whenever they reach their final destination. you are an otondo yes but at least you have come up with a viable business plan which will take you places with the right zeal and technical 'know-how' once you kickstarf it and that is enough.

don't listen to a person who discourages you but still has not raised any important business plan for the house to deliberate on except farming in the village. so because one person sells parts or oil on this thread the ignoramus wants everyone else to keep off that line of work? assuming they give him discounts, commission or preferential treatment it might have been a different thing. go to ladipo, on one line you will see up to 20 shops selling the same type of goods and they all make their sales and profits because they do it for years.

brother chase your dream, if you fail you learn from it and move on. what matters is that your dream makes sense and that is all you need. if you do not nurture and execute your dream you might remain in one spot for years with nothing to show from it.

do you and let them do themselves. monopoly hurts the economy and helps nobody.

there are many places you can get domain names and hosting plans, google about these things one b one. the same place you register yiur domain name might even have their own bulletproof hosting plans for a discount and cheap too.

Bros abeg, you are on a long thing with understanding that the meaning to a particular word, is best known when used in a concept or sentence ....

you say make the guy avoid competition and I said it's better you study your competitor so u can always be ahead due to the fact that no business enjoys pure monopoly meaning their is always an existing competition/competitor.

Peace.

This tells me you haven't done a SWOT Analysis. There are already 2 or 3 websites dedicated to what you are talking about. Competition is healthy but only if you can differentiate yourself from the pack. So far, I don't see how you plan to do that if you haven't even done a market analysis. If you don't know what your competition is offering, how do you exceed it? (I'm not your competition by the way.. Unless the naira recovers and brings us on par)

I still don't quite understand what you mean by "online mechanic". So far it seems like you mean an online used parts store.... Which exist in Nigeria...

Oh so d 406 no get automatic? Hiss!

Bros the Volvo I think is more elegant, rugged, longevity, and has a better resale and 2nd hand value than the Nissan and Kia.
Kia and Nissan engine too dey get problem no matter how well its maintained, remember you're even buying 9ja used so you'll be forced to continuing with the palm oil for servicing.

Me just dey help my guy make d right choice ni

Guy, you just dey dish out mad ideas wey people with vision and cash fit run asap. You're supposed to keep a lid on this idea and only share to potential investors, your ideas are fantastically brilliant, only a fool won't notice that.

Only pitch your ideas to people willing to invest, if I get hidden money somewhere I go use your idea and add some other things, engage in massive marketing and ads, within a year or 2 you're on your foot, raking in the money.

hearing an idea and being able to pull out off are two different things. And again, this already exists in Nigeria. A 5 seconds Google will tell you that. My cousin already did it and has been for over a year. All he can do is improve it.
