BIGOB:

They are so many places like this, we cant even mention them all in one message. Even ministry of works, a slot was sold at 800k recently, mr A who sold slot to mr B are very close and have a very close relationship. Anyone who thinks that jobs with all these juicy agencies are that cheap esp for a graduate doesnt know what he is saying. These slots are sold that high because in less than no time you'll recover your money back. Walahi anyone who is not able to pay should forget, they have people who are willing to pay even more. FG jobs are not that cheap, not to talk about a slot as an ASI in the Nigeria Immigration Service, one of the most coveted paramilitary jobs put there.

Even the junior cadre isn't sold for such amount.... If it's not 450-600k forget it... Na pure transparent scam

That's if he's even lucky to get the IA appointment letter.
The fact remains; anything that is too good to be true, is a big fat lie.

Just to add to what few individuals have said on job slots...

Take it or leave it, slots must be given to those who deserve them. The list of these people are numerous so I ll leave those outside and only talk on those withing the department.

Within the department, the No 1 man, the CG will give slots to DCGs & ACGs. Few Controllers too, especially those that have Stations/Commands will also get slots depending on the loyalty to his boss. Note: Loyalty matters a lot in Khakki Jobs. A Controller may enjoy privileges from CG more than ACG on stuffs like this.

So, having lobied for and been given slots, the above mentioned Big Rank Officers may decide to give to their children, relatives or loyal acquaintances. Conversely, they may decide to sell it out but do you know the gimmicks? No high ranking officer will want to bring his name to mud by advertising job slots if he wants to sell. They sell it through their loyal young or mid-level officers or better still, through their matured orderly officers. That's the reason you hear some low ranking personnel claiming they can get you slots. They rely on their boss's slots. However, you may end up being scammed if you are gullible 'cos not all those who parade themselves of having slots do actually have.

On the prices of slots Leave it or take it, getting one star will have you part with nothing less than 800k to 1m. Two stars in Paramilitary Jobs is 1.5m. I am very sure that most other ranks are given out for free but few benefiaries will still have to part with between 300k to 500k even above depending on the middlemen just like someone has rightly said. That's the reality of the happenings in Nigeria Job Market today.

On whether the Ogas are aware or not They are damn aware of everything but it's the system which I am confident getting it better is just a mirage. In every recruitment exercise, aside the slots cornered by top Government Official and Politicians, each CG will always give slots to his counterparts in sister departments and his surbodinates within his department and usually enjoin that that they should use it to help people around them. These slots are usually ended up being sold.

A scenario happened during our induction training in my Command. Two different parents brought a case to our then Controller claiming they paid 1m and 1.2m respectively for thier children jobs to one of our mid-level officers but none of the two clicked. God bless the Big Man, in his diplomacy, he tried calm them down and had to lie that the said officer had been transferred out to other state. He also mildly scold the parents that why wiil they have to come to his station and make noise? Supposing the job had clicked as promised, would they have come to him for thanksgiving? afterall, he wasn't there when the deal was made. The parents had to leave sluggishly. One of the two guys eventually got the job via the third batch who have just concluded Induction Exercise recently. I don't know how the second one was settled

The bottom line is, for those who desire one star, you are either given free by your God-sent (many will get through this avenue) or you part with huge sum of money ranging 800k and above. And to other ranks, you may be lucky to have it even without knowing anyone. Those who will get the job eventually, you will hear a lot of stories of how your coursemates get the job during six months training as you guys will gist and open up to one another.

Just like I've always said, don't be gullible and so desperate to avoid being scammed. Legit sources dey, the opposite self dey.

Well detailed...Boss pls how many slots of SAI ( Graduates) do you think a CG can get in a fresh recruitment? Secondly, does a CG have the right to send an SAI to the camp without the Board's approval? Thirdly, I was opportuned around two to three years ago to be shortlisted in one of the departments in Interor I mean uniform work..we went down to my state for physical screening, and exams after which two of our names were sent to one of the Top Officers ( I mean top officer) in the department and he promised to help at the end of it all the other guy's name came out and mine didn't come out whereas this very guy in question, his name didn't come out in the first stage but at last his own came and mine didn't comebout... My connect contacted the officer then he promised to do it that my connect should calmdown, the officer requested for my C.V twice uptil now nothing...can anything still be done in this senerio?

On camp activities? This has been explained in one of my previous posts. Check posts made from Dec 10 through December ending.

When you ll be called to camp? This I cannot categorically say. But quiting your present job now is not a wise decision. Remember that final list is not yet concluded for APL collection; Induction exercise at various State Commands for either six weeks, two months or three months before call for camp.

Another politics is that those who are working and haven't resigned may decide to evade Induction Exercise after collecting APL and being captured by IPPIS PLATFORM and you will all meet during camp. You don't try such if you don't have Ogas at the top or you negotiate your way with those In-charge of Induction Training. Even when call for camp eventually come, not every trainee will report as directed. Some big man pikins will not show until when they deem it fit. This is NIGERIA!

I wouldn't advice anyone to indulge in the above because your Paramilitary Life begins with Induction Exercise and whatever you miss in terms of training expecially parade, it may be difficult to catch up with your dedicated coursemates who fully participate in all activities. And it will definitely reflect in job
delivery and performance on the job.

Let me add to the foregoing, when I told one of my friends that I was shortlisted for NIS exams Dec last year, He called someone in National Assembly who said it is 1.5M last. My friend jokingly said 1M. He asked the cadre, when He heard ASI, He bluntly refused.
As God would have it, without Him, I am proceeding to the next stage with God only as my help.
So for those talking about slot, desperation blinds the mind from seeing clearly. 300k for ASI is pure desperation and may lead to regrets.
May God help us all.

Thank you!

Unlike in the Military where any minor and manageable health issue automatically gets you disqualified, Paramilitary Agencies will still give a chance and during your Training, such health conditions are taken care of.

Although, every single trainee is expected to fully participate in all activities of the Camp but those with health conditions will be exempted from some rigorous activities to avoid CASUALTY. No Commandant will pray to watch his/her trainees die. So, those with such health conditions will surely present evidence or get tested by the College Health Center for confirmation. Some lazy able-bodied folks will want to hide under such privilege to evade activities, you know.

Female trainees are enjoined to close up for the entire Training Period to avoid pregnancy, periodic pregnancy test will be conducted as directed by the Commandant. Even with that, secret bleepings still happen at wee hours among trainees at secluded places based on arrangement

Pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers whose children are still tolders are NOT expected to come for Training in the first place. However, if you can drop your child at home for six months, you ll just be collecting official pass once in a while to go home. The best option is to just forfeit the call for Training, that doesn't affect your job. Anytime other batch or other set is recruited, you ll join them for Training.

If there is a need for a trainee to leave the camp, he would have go through appropriate quarters and get official exact.

Use of handset is allowed but restrictions could be placed on it expecially during Lecture Hours, Parades, Waepon Handling Drill etc to avoid distractions.

Federal government jobs are mostly sold for the same price, or around same range.
A job as a graduate with FIRS right now costs about 2m. Positions in the paramilitary as a graduate cost around 1.5
Even in the military, be it as a regular or through DSSC, slots are being sold. Last time I knew, slots to get into the Academy (NDA) were being sold for about 1.5m. Quote me anywhere o
Why do you think it is often said that there are no jobs in Nigeria, and the few jobs there is, they are being sold so high that only the rich can afford it? Just so you know I'm not just bluffing, I've been to my fathers Academy (65th RC) and ive also had the opportunity to work in a passport office, for reasons best known to me I wont mention the command. I'm saying what I know.
In most cases, yes but not in all cases. I personally know someone who got FIRS for 750k last year and he paid just 20% before he got his APL, if he had come here 2 talk abt it maybe u guys would have discouraged him nd he wouldn't be in firs today. And to add to it he didn't know d man 4rm Adam, som1 introduced him to d man's boy on phone and he sent 20% to him without knowing him one on one. D first time he saw that guy was d day he got his APL over 6months after he paid that 20% and up till now he doesn't know d boss himself. ASI for 300k in nigeria is ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE BUT POSSIBLE, d young man just need to be careful and follow his instinct if he is privileged enough to have an instinct that doesn't fail him. Gracias.

You're saying two different things. You just said he paid 20% before he got appointment letter and paid 20% over 6 months after or something of that nature. Go back and ask your friend how much he actually paid for that job. You think I'll pay money for a job then you'll come and ask me how much I paid and I tell you the exact amount?. These things arent negotiable, no be fish you dey price for market.
And as I've always said, no one will sell a slot for ASI for you for 300k, take it or leave it. Note that if you're not willing to pay this money, others dey wey go dey willing to pay even more. This thing no be wetin them dey beg anybody make him pay for.
