There is already talk to increase price of fuel to 400naira just because Dangote is now a major player in the downstream oil sector with his refinery coming on-board. Before year 2000 a bag of cement was between 250 to 280naira but then the demon bared his fangs the then president olusegun Obasanjo banned every other player in the cement business who were mostly importars to give Dangote full monopoly of the business. From then on cement in a spate of one year that was in 2001 rose to 980naira and it has continued to skyrocket Then he continued venturing into other items and commodities and any one he started dealing on became very costly and it has continued till this day May be its time he buys nigeria as an enterprise and then directly decides who lives or dies |

Yeah........ he's a slave master. We will feel him more when his refinery started working. |

I don't know how the OP arrived at his Ewedu and gbegiri economic analysis. So it's Dangote that said your refinery should not be working, that Lafarge should not flood the market with Cement and force the price down and drive him out of the market, that your exchange rate should go up to N500/$1. Dangote is the single largest employer of labour in Nigeria aside the Government. You guys should stop all these hates simply because he is very successful. 2 Likes |

Lifestone:Well I don't know how old u re because ur little raised issues shows someone who is not matured enough to know the itricasies of ur Nigerian system. So it will be a futile effort to engage u |

Bonavi:Oga it's obvious u are void of facts...all u are saying here..are probably informations u got from beer parlour arguments...so rest.. Dangote's business is a monopoly we know...but don't lay all the blame of ur failed Country on him, lay it on ur government...the man has worked for his money....it's natural for him to have haters.. Kudos to that guy above that showed u ur place...most of the ppl abusing dangote...are only peddling the popular sterotype that he bride all government officials to keep him in business.....a claim that they can't prove nor align with the falling apart of Nigeria's economy |
