Black men didn't just wake up one morning and began kidnapping fellow blacks to give to the white man. When white people came to Africa, they created the trade. Christopher Columbus himself said he kidnapped about 5 people in Guinea Conakry around 1483 and took them to Europe. This was even before his vogage to the Americas.

What began as small kidnapping by whites later took on a life of it's own and had blacks blindly participating in it. White people didn't just enslave people in Africa. They also enslaved people in India, in Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, etc. They committed a global crime.
