AntiChristian: This people are fighting for Allah. We should pray for more strength for them. Who knows. The whole world might embrace Islam when they see the great works being wrought by this brave people. You should not join the kafirs to wish death on your brothers. |

naptu2: Don't you know how laughable this sounds? So, all they went there to do was to confirm that there was an aircraft? And sorry, how many of them travelled to carry out this physical verification? There was no other way to confirm this purchase other than fly half way across the world? No receipts, no communication with the company that sold the plane, they couldn't follow the purchase records? They had to do photoshoot with the aircraft first? All I see is a bunch of lawmakers using taxpayers money to fund a meaningless journey to the US. 1 Like |

Anyway, I've previously said that I'm not going to argue about military procurement on Nairaland. A lot of people view these things as if they are writing a comic book fantasy or a Hollywood movie. If you talk about procuring ships they'll post about aircraft carriers. What do you want to use aircraft carriers for?? These are the same people that will complain if we get involved in the crisis in Gambia or conflict in Mali! If you write about procuring warplanes they'll immediately start talking about nuclear bombers or the most advanced fighter jets. What on earth are we using them for?? Where do you want to get the money from?? You see, for these people it's all about comic book and super hero type fantasies. |
