posty56: Trust me, God in Heaven knows I don't know who the person is. He was on my previous thread. I don't do such. I'm suspecting Chenzen, but not sure. Whoever the person is, I decided not to react because it's working in my favor. A lot of things work in my favor without me trying, but people always think I'm the one behind it. No, it's God. When my promo is over, I'll call the mods to help me take down those pictures. Once again, I can never condescend this low in using an alternate to promote myself. I post every good and bad things with just one moniker. All my alternates, which everyone knows (like iClef, JoeClef, etc.) are deactivated. They wete soley for business and they all have our business contact. The only account I use NOW is this one. The reason for this disclaimer is because I know people are surely going to get scammed one day by someone posing as me and I'll end up taking the abuse, blame, or being trailed by police for what I know not. |

posty56: You're right, but I'm not really the type that cares too much about what sits well with Nigerians. I just do my thing and let them react all they want. What I don't like is identity theft, impersonation, or people thinking someone else is you. That thing scares me and it gets me mad, but people don't know. Anything that looks like fraud or impersonation gets me upset. I have defended myself in this forum from accusations or "you or not you" and I'm already tired. Everytime I come online after some weeks of being away, I always see comments like: iLegend I sight you. iLegend is that you? This is probably iLegend, etc. These people they are sighting are not iLegend. It gets me bothered and since most Nigerians can easily scam others when thr opportunity and the victims (other Nigerians) don't pay attention to details the moment they spot a slight similarity with the person they have in mind. This "supposed" iLegend may take advantage of them and when yawa gas, na the main iLegend go suffer am. Below is a screenshot of a guy I don't know and it seems he is also into book business. He made a comment while I wasn't around and someone quoted him by saying, "iLegend I sight you." The comment had 5 likes. The likes is even why I'm angrier than I was supposed to. Why? Because these 5 people that liked it thought it was me and may send him a PM and he may engage them and pretend to be me, then scam them. My main fear is people falling for a scam while thinking it was me and at the end, I have to pay for it. I don't ever went to pay for another man's crime or take another man's glory. The rate of false accusations in this world is alarming and I don't want to be a victim in any way or form.

I totally understand the gimmick. - Make a controversial post with your original moniker. - Use an alternate moniker to make the post trend. - use your original moniker to defend yourself and distance yourself from the alternate moniker you used to attack yourself.
