I'm yet to do biometrics and medicals. Also applied with just screenshot evidence of CAQ application. The CAQ approval letter just came and I'm waiting to upload everything after biometrics and medicals next week. Does this mean eligibility and background checks has started already?

ray007bu:As long as you do not submit NSE requirement, do not expect your application to be given priority. Eligibility review status or ghost update is not a reliable indicator of what's truly going on in the background. Any update is just a sign that something might be going on, but we can't truly tell. 1 Like |

Good morning all. I’m just curious to know how people coped while waiting for PPR OR eligibility review. To think I just applied and I can barely do anything without thinking of my application. Is it really possible to get your mind off it?? To all that has received PPR y’all are STRONG! 9 Likes |

Kemdil: Honestly, I don’t know some ppl handled 8 months of this wait. Barely a month since submission and I’m always on this thread or checking my email. Waiting for something to drop. I’ve tried focusing on other things but I just keep coming back here. Quick question, for NSE request, which IELTS is better, general or Academic?? 2 Likes |

shupy: Does providing a convincing explanation (without showing proof) on how I expect to raise the tuition for the second year suffice? I am self-sponsored, I present my bank statement showing 30k CAD to cover my first year tuition and living expense and then say my husband will support my second year tuition, do I need to attach his bank statement? |

JustMellow: She has finished one trimester, registered as part time, it was actually the university that registered her as part time. She registered the new trimester as part time too but I would tell her to increase the number of courses so it'd be full time. Thank you for pointing that out, I didn't know it has got something to do with PGWP though. She's an undergraduate student, do you think it could be made up since she is supposed to finish in 4 years? Moreover, her dad was of the opinion she changes her course to nursing when she gets to Canada. |

may99: I heard either one can serve. Some people wrote General and got approval as well. I’ve written both though I submitted my application with “Academics”. I’ll definitely say general is easier. NB: My General got expired and I wrote Academics because of study route; but that was before I heard General can serve too. U can still seek the opinions of “Gurus” in the house. 1 Like |

MindfulV: Yes, pls attach his statement and in your explanation of how you'll pay, make sure you show evidence of the points you are making. Although you should note frm experience the more the documents submitted for review, the longer the eligibility review takes. Goodluck to us all 1 Like |
