Whether naija used or tokunbo, you go still fix things.

I have bought quite a number of cars and I've never bought any that does not have something that needs to be fixed.

If its not much of a bother, can you assist me with a sample agreement you have with one of your drivers

The guy driving for me is starting to mess up.

Lolz...agreement will not make him sit up. Just be firm...contact me, will send it to u.

You just stated the obvious and main reason the partner put the car up for sale but why do you still have to contradict your own words again by saying his statement made sense again, abi u dey whine my nipples ni

Leme break it down for u. Beware of someone selling a car he used for ehailing, especially when u want to use it for ehailing. Something is fishy...However, not all sales of this kind is trouble, sometimes, owner just needs money.

I didn't state d obvious cos I don't know the seller or the car, and even if seller tells u the car doesn't have any problem, u can't take his word for it...he will say or do anything to get ur money in exchange for the lemon and pass d headache to u.

So his statement made sense because if car is so good, partner shouldn't sell as far as he gets his rentals regularly and complete and even if he wants to sell, driver should be in a good position to buy. So if driver has money to do HP, na small remain to add and buy his "good" car he has been driving and must have fallen in love with. Owner reject am, driver sef reject am, then that's a red flag.

Yeah! I called afterwards only to be told it been sold out, such opportunity dont last a minute... The car was actually bought tok few months ago and the owner just had urgent need for money to sort out problem.

May God never let us have problem that will make us resort in selling our property for less.

Yes it’s in high demand right now but d price is high. If you can bring it at a price cheaper than that other guy then you have the market.
You will save a lot of people from switching to super tech oil.
But make sure you have a thick skin cos he will come for you.

I come in peace
He will only ask me for my car papers/mileage

Importing oil is like saying you want to import petrol for you car because you don't want to buy petrol in Nigeria.
Engine oil is also a by-product of crude oil. With more hope, Dangote like other players in the market like total and oando would produce engine oil in his refinery and people would have more options to pick from.

The Corolla:
In 2017, a 2006 Corolla went for between 1.5m to 1.8m max for the highest grades. So pardon me, I am Just surprised u bought yours 2.2m.

The Civic:
For a car to be fit for ehailing, I suppose it is still in good condition; engine, transmission, ac, interior, body and other functionalities...if so then N530k is quite cheap for a buy and drive 04 civic, considering how much cars go for nawadays. Hence I asked for full disclosure. grin

The Volvo:
Like I said, drive the car for 1yr on ehailing then u do review. Ruggedity and receptivity to stress, quality and durability of parts, cost and frequency of change, ease of problem solving etc...so far what u know is purchasing cost and fuel consumption...

In this business, I think cost of startup is less important than cost of running/maintainance, let's not even talk about second hand value and ease of liquidation. However, we have to consider all 3 factors before establishing which car is best for the job.
The 04 corolla i am using now was bought toks in September 2017 for 2.3m
I can snap the papers if u are in doubt

Hello guys i am thinking of selling Mobil synthentic oil as a side hustle at competitve price than what you get in Lagos, is it really in Demand?

This business is capital intensive... It is a niche business and not everyone can afford importer engine oil .....old habits die hard .alot of Nigerians are still using the substandard oil and many are not still enlighten about using good oil .........

Your target market should be for everyone.. But focus on new Tokunbo car owners.. Or car owners that spend millions of naira buying their dream etc .....You want to give those car owners an upper hand in maintaining their cars...........

You will get only a hand full of nairaland customers that can afford... But it is free advertising for you and hopefully out of the few that buys from will tell their friends.... This is how you will built your customer base.

My customers are built via word of mouth ... It is a niche business....... The sky is the limit and I wish you best of luck

Kindly fire the guy and move on .. This business is a very tough one .. They are more bad drivers than good ones..... Don't do business based on emotions or sentiments..

Parts and imported goods are expensive now ..... The exchange rate has hit the roof .. It is time you tighten up and be a man ...fire anyone that u feel is messing up the quicker the better......

Most of these drivers don't care about you or your feelings..... You need to take the same approach......

It is always business not personal....remember that ....keep the quote in ur mind always.......

There is more to it than just refining crude oil and making it into engine oil.... Millions of dollars are invested in doing research and test lab ..... It takes special technical skill to do this ......

Peradventure you find yourself at ICM, Ikeja.

Avoid parking at the fringes of the exit and entrance gates. ( the one opposite alausa sect. / Bero auditorium and the one directly opposite that Testing ground signpost) ,

There is an actual No Parking Signage at both points.
Putting on your hazard lights won't help you.

The MIB attached to that axis move periodically to hunt for meat cool. Don't fall prey, You don't wait for your rider there, your rider must be the one waiting for you, if it's a pick up, it must be done with precision.

Your safest pick up point on Weekends is, the Place, Kafi street.
