Naija used you mean? If yes, perish that idea. The ride is quite ugly too cool
X5 of that year is also a terrible car (rubbish engine) which possibly might share engine with the GT

Yes sir it's a naija used but the owner say it's well maintained. i read alot of bad reviews about the 2010 -2012 5 series GT. it seems most issues were address from 2013 upwards.. but sir that engine is quite a beast you know with over 400hp on tap

True, but buying a Naija used car is most of the time not good talkless of a BMW. Performance figures are impressive and drives like an M5 but....

From 2012, the E550 could be had without Airmatic.

I just won this clean Audi A4 at an auction for $1350 (N650k). By the time you add shipping and clearing cost, the amount will balloon up to N1.9m

This is why cars are very costly in Nigeria.

But I am still able to save like N400k though because buying it from a car dealer will cost at least N2.4m

If you also want to learn how to buy clean cars at low prices and ship them to Nigeria, then watch this video - https:///y4w4ty9v

Yes! If you're a billionaire, it is a good buy; but if you're one of the usual Naija hustlers shouting "I must buy motor, I must buy motor".

Hahahahaaaaaa! You better Ben Johnson and go look for a clean Lexus, Volvo or Old Benz (2010 downwards) else, na the Bmw go kill you last last. grin

Of course I know, majority of those you think are enjoying & hyping Beemers on this thread are covertly licking their wounds. grin

No doubt, Beemers drive like an "Aerion AS2 Jet" but for every 100km it drives you, you must also drive & park it in a mechanic workshop for atleast 3months. grin

Habaaa! You carry a BM enter workshop today, dem tell you say dem don fix am, hahahaaaaa, my brother - you go still return am to the workshop the following day. grin

Na push me, I push you. grin

I am telling you from experience!

If you don't believe me, log onto jiji and browse the Bmw models on sale. Omo, you go see 2012 Beemers (5 & 7 series most especially X5) being advertised for 2 or 3 million because the machine don show dem pepper.

Do not buy the "if you don't use the recommended oil grade, it will fvck you up" bullshiit. Bmws are designed to fail.

Misery loves company. The owners are trying to transfer the burden to the next unfortunate owner while they themselves port to Japanese.

Na that overheating part nearly make me craze.

I am already going grey and I no fit do the kind wahala wey Beemer give me 20 - 25years ago.

Don't get me wrong, I will definitely still buy Beemers (prolly The M6 & X7M) because it was my first love but e go be brand new tear-rubber and by that time, I go don relocate to Switzerland or Austria where competent hands can diagnose & work on it, not all these our trial & error mechanics looking for shortcuts to escape Buhari's induced-hardship (no offense intended). grin grin

Amigo, the long & short of my epistle is that if you have 5Billion Naira in your "akkant" ; by all means, go ahead & buy the Beemer.

But from the picture on your profile, as I see you dey carry poun-poun for building site, my brother, that Beemer go send you back to the village. Hahahahaaaaaaa grin

lies from the pit of hell. I use a 2008 535i. It's been nothing but joy. Only changed a hose a mechanic inadvertently punctured while servicing the car. In about 2 years of ownership, no issues whatsoever. You are talking from experience? What did you expect when you bought a thoroughly abused naija used bmw that you couldn't restore to factory spec?

You are wasting your time by responding to him. There is really no need. For me, it will BMW machines all the way, at least my major collection.... It's been 8 years and counting of using no other make but BMW cars, no regrets so far.

In my years of ownership of BMW, it has never left me stranded like lots of Japanese you people praise, NEVER. Never even had engine repairs. Major works I've done is just suspension parts. Maybe you bought abused cars or your maintenance is poor. Owned 3 BMW's and never even experienced overheating, not even in the Japanese cars I've owned. You people use cars like just tools that can't fail. All manufacturers have one or two issues with their releases doesn't make a specific brand bad.

I'm even jittery whenever I drive Japanese cars, asides poor handling most of them have, I get scared of being stranded. Come 3rd mainland bridge and see loads of those cars failing in little traffic compared to the 'bad' Benz and BMW

I will advice you buy the 08 model upwards. The 04 to 07 model has it's ECU in the spare tyre well in the boot. There is high risk of water ingress and damage to that ECU. 08 and above have the ECU relocated from that area. Very beautiful car to ride. Reliable too. Don't just buy Nigerian used.
