Pls brothers and sister who had written Jamb and had high scores...
Advise me pls,I have just few weeks to prepare for utme ,but I have the basic knowledge of the subjects I'm taking..what advice would you give me?
I need like 340+.

Ensure you have several reviewed and professionally packed summary notes on Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Use of English.

For 340+,you'll have to read hard, pray harder and lest I forget, ensure you read over and over again! Provided that you know how to manage your TIME very well. Solve problems! Answer hard questions!!

Goodluck.

IT? Never knew that BMS courses go for IT. Where I trained, we didn't.

Maybe you should try the Histopathology lab of any close tertiary hospital.

Wish you the best.

Good morning.

Just as tonye001 said, apply to tertiary hospital close to you. preferably your school teaching hospital. Private lab and other institution may not give you the experience you desire.

Which school is that?
It's either a teaching hospital or FMC/General hospital. There's always one in your state.
What do you intend to do in the fertility clinic?

You should be looking at being grounded in Histopathology. Like biopsy/autopsy and tissue processing of different organs and it's interpretation and even mortuary technology.

Except you just want to do IT anyhow anyhow and leave.

I have been following this thread for the past 2yrs now as an undergraduate student studying physiology hoping that one day I will be like you guys. To cut the long story short, I finished my programme last year and applied with my first degree to unilorin for MB;BS. God has answered my childhood dream. I have been admitted. To unilorin I shall forever remain grateful like a pilgrim.
Please which school did you finished from and what's your grade?

Does Unilorin write POST-DE exams?

Do they require NYSC discharge cert?

Please elucidate.

Ok,I just asked.

He said that the NYSC discharge certificate doesn't stop you from getting admitted but it is a must for clearance.

The DE Exam is basically the same stuff as utme but a lil bit tougher.

You should be among the top scorers...this was his words.

Then he said anything above 75% would be just fine.

Goodluck in your pursuit Boss.

It's always together, "Dentistry and Dental Surgery", then you'll graduate to be a "Dental Surgeon"

Just like people study "Medicine and Surgery " to become Medical Doctor (Physician)

The difference is that graduate of Dentistry and Dental surgery graduates to become a Dental surgeon which makes such person a specialist.

But graduate of Medicine and Surgery graduates to become the normal general physician.

Some federal schools where Dentistry and Dental Surgery is being offered include:

Bayero University, Kano
Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife
University Of Benin, Benin City
University Of Calabar, Calabar
University Of Ibadan, Ibadan
University Of Lagos
University Of Maiduguri
University Of Nigeria Nsukka
University Of Port-Harcourt
University of Jos

Then for state institution:
Lagos state university
University of Medical Sciences

I filled them as SECOND CHOICE.

Will I be accepted after meeting the requirements?

You won't even be allowed to write the pude not to talk of being admitted. They only accept first choice applicants.

UNIBEN do not call candidates who chose her as second choice for her exams.
