Yes na.

Another one told me to pause the ride when she wanted to step into an eatery to buy food.

Told her it's not possible except I end the trip. She said a driver paused for her the day before.

I asked her if it had any effect on the estimate she saw when he finally ended the trip.

She said yes, she paid the same amount she saw.

Had to take time to explain to her its because she didn't take much time at the eatery and that in my experience, once the driver does not wait more than 10 minutes at a stop, you hardly see any difference in price.

Not sure she even believed me. Probably thought I was giving her stories because I wanted the money to increase cheesy
Dem plenty, wetin concern me. I will just tell them okay, no time to shalaye

With bolt's new pricing system, does it really favor the drivers?

U can actually work on only one app and still make it...its their targets that's the bone in the throat. They should just run their operations like regular car rentals...carry car and deliver 30k or even 35k ...the number of trips, number of hours, how much I make and how I make the money shouldn't be their concern.

Its just a matter of time...they will change the strategy

You're forgetting they've a contract with Uber.

Only God knows what the benefits or mutual benefit btw those two companies have together because to me I don't see any business sense or benefit the marriage brings to moove who roled in 2016 cars to ride on uber alone.

Well, na them sabi shall.

See, customer is always right... Anything they say accept it. Except if they are asking for clarification. If rider say purse the ride, I will just say okay ma. I don't have strength. So when ur money accumulate, u will not say its because I refused to purse trip. Or vex and give me 1 star. From experience, if u obey rider, they are satisfied and happy, even if the outcome is unpleasant, only the heartless ones will still want to blame u.

U don hammer ooo grin ...not interested in how much u suffer... Na ur choice tongue
If e no pay u, u no go go...business is business no sentiment. The last time I went to Ikorodu, na 10k I charge from Osapa London. I checked d destination already on google map and it was just opposite the general hospital. So no bad road, I had braced myself for the worst on traffic that day but luckily I was done with the trip in less than 1hr 30mins, return was quick too from the general hospital to ikosi road. I just used that one as compensation as d offline had covered my to and fro out of that place.

If u work fulltime, ur day/week can be roughly/averagely like this regularly. U don't have to go to Ikorodu every day on offline inother to hammer

That’s why I keep shouting to people who care, that dashboard doesn’t reflect true earnings cos you will minus suffer, bad road, hot sun, traffic from earning and say u hammer.
Office people won’t suffer dis much to earn salary so u should stop comparing them

Okay I what I usually say... No time.

Some times self when we're having argument about buying fuel I just tell them "dont worry I'll pause the ride" the moment I say this there'll be peace in the atmosphere.

No time.

For your information my current rating is 4.75 after yesterday's COB, and its worthy of note that I don't beg for rating like you do and for the past 4months my rating has not dropped below 4.70.

I ve been driving on bolt alone immediately after the strike cos of destination and when I finally want to try Uber to change location without blowing empty they will give me 15mins pick up. For this Buhari regime. I will just cancel and blow empty .
I’ve been wanting to ask how drivers still cope with Uber

https://www.dealernewstoday.com/emerging-catalog-technologies-can-rev-up-auto-parts-sales/

An interesting read following the recent discussion on the thread about an online database for vehicle replacement parts. I might as well weigh in my thoughts:

1. I noticed no one spoke from the point of view of the customer! Which I found amazing. It doesn't matter how cool or dope a product is, if the customers can't access it, you are just wasting your time. For example, for the database in question, the customers are repair shops and automotive engineers; not car owners. How many of these automotive engineers are savvy enough to use a sophisticated database as proposed? Maybe 2%. Of these 2%, how many will actually be convinced enough to use? An example; I happen to know Gazzuzz is a very hands-on Automotive Engineer. He loves combing through Ladipo warehouses as he searches for tokunbo replacement parts for his clients. I can bet #20,000 that he would have it no other way - database or not. Same for DMechyy.

2. Also, do you guys think an Igbo man in Ladipo will open up his warehouse so you can catalog his inventory? Like who does that? Inventory is a competitive advantage, and no Igbo man will ever ever open up his warehouse for you to now start counting and labeling his goods for him.

My thoughts; apologies for my lengthy post.

No car is bad as long as it is yours and you're driving it yourself. It is better than dropping your car at home and driving someone else's corolla on rental.

Good luck

That's like looking for drivers that will do night driving exclusively(6/7pm-6/7am)? Has the curfew been lifted though?

Even if there's no curfew, how will u expect a driver to work only at night till dawn and still expect him to deliver 25k per week, apart from the risk involve, riders are scarce in late hours. Nawa o...some owners T&C's sef are worst than moove own... undecided
