afroxyz: There are rumours that the new incoming CEO of Amazon will run a stock split. And as always I will advise $AMZN as a buy. I remember a couple of my friends that I advised to purchase FAANG (Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, Google) last year. They say those companies can't double, they went for penny stocks. I know penny stocks can 10x your investments, but that's the same way they can 1/10x. Can the FAANG giants 10x, almost impossible. Can they also 1/10x, also extremely unlikely. 3 Likes 1 Share |

emmanuelewumi: I disagree with you in this though. A lot of the tech companies have outperformed expectations based on their earning reports even in a pandemic situation. I do not know which news you guys are reading. It was mostly airlines, resorts, energy sectors that underperformed. 1 Like |

Lol . No vex boss. This year's performance is not even due to bloated valuation. It's common knowledge. Cinemas are opening back up, so over reliance on Netflix will of course reduce or plateau. Covid vaccines are showing promise, so physical stores are opening back up eating into Amazon's slice. Same thing for Zoom, Salesforce. And then there's the interest rates issue. I like the fact that the growth of tech companies this year is not as crazy, that means they are actually rational towards market changes. 2 Likes |

A plot of land in Venezuela costs $9, a paltry N4500. With N50k you can own 10 plots of land in the country #JokeOfTheDay

Brainbox0806: I have read many comments here and I chose to agree with u that, that guy is sick and need to be warned against derailing this thread. Ever since he came to join this thread he has been very uncomfortable with peoples comment especially those who quote figures. But he needs to amend his ways, otherwise any one stands being abused for their contributions on this thread. 12 Likes 1 Share |

If this will make you feel cool: I'M NOT XIAOLI. Now let me educate you a bit, do not try to convince people to know your real worth except you are a celebrity that need such for endorsements motives. Don't post your achievements on the grams, it can only do you more harms than good. I've an older friend that worth huge billions that reside in the US, whenever he comes back home, he try as much as possible to talk like a typical igbo man with just a normal shirt, nobody knows whtsup about him till he's done here. The real men live codedly but the empty barrel or little kids with unimaginable wealth from unscrupulous sources make the loudest noise. XiaoLi: 3 Likes |

Nigeria is slipping into anarchy, the more the presidency try to convers up the more glaring it becomes. Can we still continue our investments in NTB or is it advisable to hold for now? I was thinking things should still be in order till 2022. 4 Likes |
