For the record, I have done most of my life in the north so I am well informed.
I have been to around 10 northern states.
If you want to wear hijab, go to a normal public school or Muslim schools, don't come to Christian schools just to cause trouble and ensure they change their ways or doctrines for you, no other religion go to their schools to do such.
You are not superior to anyone.
Practice your religion and allow others have the same freedom to practices theirs.

But on the contrary, two of my nephew who came to school in the South were hurriedly taken back by their parents even though my parents enrolled them in Islamic schools, force them to go mosque everytime the need be and allow them freedom towards their religion, their parents were always with fear of converting their kids to Christians
