kinnad:Usually you will be given a deadline to pay a part of the tuition or whole tuition to retain your seat in the program. If you pay the tuition within the time given, the Official Acceptance letter that can be used for Visa purposes will usually come within a week. But if you pay after the deadline given for the tuition payment, then it can't be predicted because it depends on them having a seat left in the program and also, first come, first served. |

kinnad: Immediately you pay ur tuition deposit, you can go ahead and apply of your visa. Your school doesnt send you CAS. Once you are issued an admission, you are given a specific length of time to pay at least your tuition deposit. If you dont, your admission will be revoked |

Hi, congrats on the PPR. I read the experiences of those who did the quarantine recently and posted their experiences on thread 18. According to them, booking you can book from here in naija and pay cash when you arrive Canada. Also, but not related to quarantine, don't forget to get a letter of enrollment from your institution. The airports in naija request for it and I also heard from some that it was also asked at the port of entry in Canada. Wishing you all the best ahead. Also wishing the best to we still expecting PPR as well as those reapplying. Lianna2020: 3 Likes |

Okay, please check this link below. The hotel you book will depend on the city of the airport of your arrival. You will find the list of the government approved hotels in the link below. When you click the name of the arrival province, the lists of the approved hotels will pop up as a drop down. https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/2019-novel-coronavirus-infection/latest-travel-health-advice/mandatory-hotel-stay-air-travellers/list-government-authorized-hotels-booking.html#s2 httpss://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/692#101716613 Lianna2020: 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Congratulations!! Glory to GOD, it is done!! [quote author=folla post=102336686]Praise God!!!! Hi Everyone, I have been a silent reader all along and this post is on behalf of my wife. She applied for Canadian study visa on 18/02/2021 and since then the waiting game started. This morning, she opened her mail and coincidentally, 2 emails dropped from IRCC within the space of about 3 minutes. Could it be the good news we all have been waiting for? The emails stated that there were messages to be checked in the profile. We summoned the courage to check her profile and lo and behold, it was an approval! Both PPR and BvL came at about the same time. We thank God Almighty for the success. A lot happened in-between the time of the application and PPR. She had sent several webforms seeking to know status of the application. IRCC always responded with the generic emails, starting with "under active review" and then later to "in process". Yet we kept faith alive. She also had to migrate her international passport into a new one, just because her old passport would expire early next year, whereas she will be going for a 2-year program. When she obtained the new passport (this process took about 6 weeks), she notified IRCC by webform. She had to also defer her admission from Summer to Fall of 2021 and she notified IRCC by webform. |

Hello! I applied for a Canada study visa in the month of may, shortly I received a message from the embassy saying i qualify for a Nigeria student express. Did the ielts though but I wasn’t able to meet up with the score required by the embassy as I had 5.5 in writing. My question is can I submit the ielts test like that? and if eventually I don’t submit it, what are my chances of getting the visa? |

Rayraydray:Some people have been able to secure their study permit with low IELTS score, but I personally wouldn't take the risk. Submit MyBankStatement and write a letter of explanation stating you're unable to submit IELTS result because the earliest available date is way beyond the deadline. 2 Likes 1 Share |
