mede4real:from my own view there's a reason why everyone is given different dates, what I don't know is d reason for it me mysef would like clarification but the guys that got screened on Tuesday at Ahoada werr specialists I met two of dem arriving while I was leaving on Monday evening after I finished up, I didn't ask further what specialist meant cos that's what d guy told me he applied as,when dey both stoped me to ask questions, but while waiting for my screening I over heard the officers murmuring that anyone here is defz going to camp especially seeing dat out of the 50name 45 of us turned up, again from my point of view it seems it's different days for diffent states and cader accordingly, while at d gate wer we queued lined up to enter, the keep saying impressive turnout as per that 45 out of 50 seems like other days didn't have d same turnout so I believe strongly that some people shortlisted that couldn't make it down for whatever reason have made Thier screening job easier or have created space for slots to be sold, I sha don't wanna believe in the spaces will be given out cos NIS has tried this time to make d process a certain percent fair in my view, but this is Nigeria we know as e dey be!! Another small but maybe useless piece of information is I overheard the main man a man on mofti, a Muslim looking bloke, say they are here for the rest of this week cos of theres dis guy that was the tallest ,dude was taller Dan the height scale I thinks deY wer very impressed wit his height and kept on admiring him for it, but had issues wit his FSLC result and dey passed him but asked him to bring it down befre dey conclude screening and leave for Abuja wit the names the have screened and passed, I believed it's from Abuja we will get calls for d next stage,it's 80 percent done, d other 20 na village people and your documents fit hold u back, am just grateful to Allah from bringing me this far I no Sabi even mosquito or fly and I keep being grateful. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Umaralix142:that's how dey trace ur real age, the years y schooled and stuff 1+1 go lead to 2,and if u actually wento primary school I mean u can't falsify ur age at that level lol. But I saw an older guy swear he was like 40 or plus wit white hair cut real low but we still Dey see d gray, I mean everybody dey find betterment for himself las las. And oh there's this pregnant lady not so heavy but visible, that they kept taking her to d side to talk to her even the training school comptroller if that's what dey called was a woman and also shared a long talk with her i was sat to far away to notice if she dey let her or told her off. |

My experience in MINNA: Make sure you have all your docs and are well dressed for the screening. They check neatness. At the gate, the guys with "IP" arm bands (Immigration Police in charge of security) ask for your invitation letter, you write down your name, then they issue you a piece of paper containing a number which they follow serially as they call you in threes or fours. An officer who's the "Provost" in charge of discipline, (nice guy though he claims to be wicked ) would welcome and address you all. Na for stony ground una go siddun ooo! No chairs, no comfort. But na under tree shade. Just endure, and be respectful. It's only for a little time and you'd be on your way. Some of the officers would even give you tips. DON'T TAKE PICTURES OOO ... Wahala be like wetin?? Ehen . They even have pure water as refreshments. ... Take permission if you want to take a call or ease yourself After a while, they'd start calling you in. Make sure you cram your Application ID (the one starting with NIS-....) . And be able to defend your certificates. Just be confident. The 1st officer who'd usher you in for your names to be ticked could ask random but easy questions. After that, they'd take your height and chest measurements. Then, you'd go through four more officers who'd basically check your docs, ask a few questions, tick your names and then you'd be on your way. Don't go out the same way you came in ooo. Ask for the other exit. Ehen Best wishes to everyone! 5 Likes |

donbee:yes.they told us when we went for screening at Minna.and I'm sure if you do your math well it will add up to d number dy want...so the best 28 people will make it to the next stage.....you can still ask when you go for your own screening too |

Re: Nigeria Immigration Service 2020 Recruitment by BIGOB: 9:32pm On Jun 03, 2021 |
Everygoodthing:No idea brother, na only them sabi that one. I want to back what I've said. When it comes to the military, when applying to the NDA, you know entrance exams will first of all be take, after which as of the last time I knew, 50 people were selected from each state to attend the armed forces selection board (AFSB) which is also screening. After credential screening, medicals, physical screening and all that, the number drops, and some go home. Mostly due to medicals sef, though the medicals done in the paramilitary isnt that serious. At the end, those remaining will now face the board. Some states will still have over 20 candidates left, some other states can still have more, some less. After facing the board, you then go home and then the waiting game begins. I think with the ongoing Immigration screening right now, there will be a time of waiting too after the screening, while the board selects who they'll take into the service. So please, no one should go and sit down after his screening and relax, thinking he or she has already gotten the job. Go and pray, those of you who have connections, go and disturb them. It is not yet over! I repeat, it is not yet over. No one has gotten the job yet just because they have attended screening. Attending the screening only means you're a step closer to getting the job, it isnt over yet. Those who have ears, let them hear. |

BIGOB: You mentioned something about maths or calculation in your previous post... Is this the maths you are talking about? |
Re: Nigeria Immigration Service 2020 Recruitment by BIGOB: 10:42pm On Jun 03, 2021 |
frank2zee:Lol I mentioned maths? Never mentioned maths oga, ghostofAPA did. Maybe you should be sure of something before typing. I'm not forcing anyone to believe me, if you think you've gotten the job just because you have attended screening, then good luck to you. But whether you like it or not, a selection is still going to happen after the screening. 1 Like |
