ogunleyesijibomi: I’ll advise you order for your gcms note, if it looks good, book your upfront medicals, and be expecting PPR, otherwise respond to the VO’s concern(s) before booking medicals as February applicants are now getting decision while you’re waiting on a medical request from them. It will end in praise. |

SuomyNona: Ohh thanks! 1) is it compulsory i must show he is a civil servant (just to prove there is/will be sufficient funds while studying). How about stating he has a big cocoa farm? And then my mum has a shop, sponsored by my dad, can we register the trading shop to show funds comes to the family from there also? 2)how much in naira? If have paid first semester tution, with 3m naira(10k CAD) in my own account and 10m naira in sponsors account, is that not okay? 3)maybe for financial prove and not much dependence on my dad, is the birth certificates of myself, my dad and my younger sibling okay? So, it will just show like, we are 2 children. Or just mine and my dad is okay? 4) Apart from sponsor's landed property documents for financial buoyancy/ties back home, do i need to upload his assets like car or house documents? Thanks! |

shupy:I submitted my application on the 1st of may and did my biometrics on the 10th of may. Three days later (13th), I got a message that I qualify for the NSE program, so I have to submit an ielts exam and my proof of funds. Went on doing the ielts exam but I didn’t pattern it up as I got band 5.5 in writing while I did the other very well. So my question is should I submit my ielts result with the POF along with a back up letter of some sort of reasons hoping I’ll get it? Cos the due date is 13th of this month! |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by SuomyNona: 12:19pm On Jun 04, 2021 |
emmalextemtop: Sigh... Don't complicate your application, be forthright as much as possible. There should be evidence to backup every claim you make in your application. If you claim your sponsor is a civil servant you have to show it. If you claim he has a Cocoa farm or he is an entrepreneur you have to show it too i.e farmers association membership, government registration of business or any other proof. I don't know your annual tuition fees, that was why I suggested my personal view concerning proof of means of financial means. It is up to you to do the math, use your discretion and calculate the amount in naira. You can use yourself and your dad as co-sponsors, the essential thing is to proof beyond reasonable doubt that you both have the financial might to support your study . |

This Canada (study) visa thing na by grace of God. Got my bro's gcms documents today and we had to start a new thanksgiving on his approval.......Many of these agents are nonsense people, if at all you need to use one, pls be very careful. So this nonsense agent filled form that my bro has been working in company A since September 2018, he did employment letter on company A's letterhead and letter was dated July 2019. On form, he filled that expenses will be borne by my father and the applicant, where SOP stated only my dad. Attached staff ID card of another company B(my dad's company). WTF??!!! Payslip carries name of company B. Deducted tax of 5% gross pay sef, value wrong! He did sworn affidavit and dat states he is goin to Humber College, wrong school. Thank God these documents even came in after he has gotten his visa, high blood pressure for don kill pesin. My opinion is that SOPs play a strong role in our applications. Infact, like 90%. Let's take time to work on our SOPs. Address every issue! Link ur degrees to Nigeria and Africa(look at one or two problems in Nigeria you wanna solve with ur degree), address home ties, finances and all strongly. Cuz I feel that applications are treated in the reverse manner, instead of picking up ur application and planning to give an approval, dey pick up your application and look for reasons to refuse u, so any little Bleep up laidis, dem nakk u breakfast be dat o. #PrayForGrace March applicants, let's start warming up for our PPRs 15 Likes |
