Siwisheswereesh: Nonsense talk! There is no harm in trying. We must not give up. Someday, we shall get it right. I Just wish u can learn from the governor, he said is an exercise to loot money and this present administration av been using this pattern to share Nigeria money on yearly basis. |

Jonathan did sign it thinking he will come back for a second term. What a statement from this man. After wasting our God given resource money. |

nairavsdollars: Makinde is a born liar. We thought he was different to all the thieving politicians but he is worse. Goodluck Jonathan refused to attend to the report of the CONFAB and only brought it out a few weeks before election, to appease Afenifere and co, when they predicated support for him on that. He had no liver to implement it. Nobody should tell us a monkey has suddenly become a dog. 1 Like |

nairavsdollars: I agree with Makinde. If our leaders were serious, they would have started from the 2015 review. |

GEJ had more than nine months to present the report of the conference to the NAAS for adoption and then implementation but guess what they occupied themselves with, how to win reelection when they were aware that they are a bunch of thieves. So why is this one now blame APC for what all of them are guilty for. |

Sometimes i get angered by the way some people talk and reason. If Goodluck didn't sign cos he tot he'll be coming back, what about the window of 3 months he'd before handing over after he lost. Same happened to Age seaport in Bayelsa State, he also left without signing it. |

It doesn't require intelligence to know that. Even the constitutional autonomy for the judiciary, legislature and local government is not implemented by the state governor, Seyi Makinde inclusive. How do you expect the national assembly to approve any decision that does not serve their interest? The only option to jettison the useless document called "The Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria " id911: |

Siwisheswereesh:the reviewed constitution is already on their desk. Oga read and think. Since 2015. |
Re: Constitution Review, A Waste Of Time – Makinde by Codes151(m): 3:17pm On Jun 04, 2021 |
Aadeniyi092:there are processes to follow. The timeframe wasn't okay. Elections were coming and all had to be paused. That's how it works. So those were handed over to the next administration since 2015. |
Re: Constitution Review, A Waste Of Time – Makinde by Codes151(m): 3:18pm On Jun 04, 2021 |
Besk:2015 confab can never and could never be signed in 2015. I had to go thru vetting and review. That's the expectation |

BUT THEY WILL FACE THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR ACTION. When the centre can no longer hold disintegration of Nigeria will take place. |

nairavsdollars: Former President Goodluck Jonathan didn’t sign it because he thought he was going to come back and wanted to sign it after coming back. This is disheartening Why wait to come back to sign important documents such as the review of constitution where millions we're spent and lot of human resources Something that would have changed alot in our polity One of the reasons GEJ failed |

Shame on Makinde. Jonathan didnt know that he will not come back by April 2015 abi? He had 10 months to sign but hoped that coming back will make him sign. He had 5 years to organize the conference but waited till the hand writing was on the wall for him to leave before he organized it. He now expects a beneficiary of status quo to sign it! PDP has never been a serious party. Never again! Morally bankrupt people who only find their voice after they leave office 1 Like |
