Thank you so much. Really helpful piece of information.

Hi MindfulV

There was no allusion to her study permit application in the employer's reference letter. The employer's letter simply stated that the applicant was seeking to visit Canada during her leave period and that she be assisted in the process.

I hope the above satisfy your enquiry.

Thank you so much for your response so far but my passport is not out yet I'm sorry if I'm being too much

No problem. Don't ever hesitate to make an enquiry.
Still reach out to the bank. If they insist on the passport requirement, then use the barter app.

Petroleum engineering.
Graduated 2019
No work experience, related to my field of study
Ok

The Two PG. Cert programs listed below has components of Mining, Geology/Geophysics, Hydrology, Drilling which I feel is related to your Petroleum Engineering degree.

Take your time and go through all the contents in the links below

PG. Cert in Environmental Engineering Applications
Conestoga College, Ontario
https://www.conestogac.on.ca/fulltime/environmental-engineering-applications

https://www.conestogac.on.ca/fulltime/environmental-engineering-applications/courses?id=22106

PG. Cert in Environmental Monitoring & impact Assessment
Cambrian College, Sudbury, Ontario
https://catalog.cambriancollege.ca/empd/#falltext

The only downside of the above programs is that, it's only available for SEPTEMBER (Fall) intake. So if you are interested in any of the program, you are to apply for the FALL 2022 Admission intake. Fall 2022 admission application would open by Late JANUARY 2022

I submitted my application on the 1st of may and did my biometrics on the 10th of may. Three days later (13th), I got a message that I qualify for the NSE program, so I have to submit an ielts exam and my proof of funds. Went on doing the ielts exam but I didn’t pattern it up as I got band 5.5 in writing while I did the other very well. So my question is should I submit my ielts result with the POF along with a back up letter of some sort of reasons hoping I’ll get it? Cos the due date is 13th of this month!

We did biometrics same day....what about your medical, has it been updated ?

No! Please, that is wrong. It's only a 2 years program that qualifies you for a 3 years PGWP.
Not just 1 year, a one year program is for a year PGWP.

There is Fast tracked program. If a program is 2yrs but the school Fast tracked it to 1yr 6months for example, you may be eligible for 3yrs PGWP

Hello,

I applied for admission to two schools in Canada. One of them is the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary. I'm a High School graduate and I just finished Secondary School last year. My admission got accepted by both schools and I received admission letters from them. However, I decided to choose the University of Alberta because it was my best fit. I have paid the acceptance fee (1000 CAD) and I'm left with the visa and Canadian Study Permit.

I am writing this to inquire what steps I should take concerning the visa and the Study permit. I would like to know the required documents needed and any general tips and advice to be aware of.

Any further complications would be communicated here.

Thank you.

Guys

I
I need help

on my international passports my middle name is Anuoluwapo
on my birth cert and some documents it is Anuoluwa

Immigration would recognize the name on your international passport. Therefore, your application on your GC Key should reflect it as on your passport. I assume you would have already done a change of name that explains that the middle name relates to the same person "you".

Attach a copy of your newspaper publication and affidavit with your application. Also, one of the IMM forms has a question if you have a former name and another box to type the new so you state your full names there and "Anuoluwa" as former and on the new"Anuoluwapo," to clear the air on the middle name disparity.

Cheers!

There is no harm in attaching your dad's assets, properties and cars documents.

Travel history is not a must.

SOP is a essential, make it a plausible narrative and back up claims made in the SOP with adequate evidence.

Hi, when did you receive admission from Calgary?

January.

I have gotten some documents but since the tuition and funds are so expensive, we needed time and we informed the school. They gave us the option of paying 5o percent by September and the rest by January 2022. So now my parents need the proper documents to start processing the visa and study permit. General advice/tips are also encouraged. There is also the possibility of studying online until next year where I can travel if the visa doesn't work out.

Please help.

Thanks so much for your response.
Do appreciate!
When do you think is the best time to apply for visa application to avoid unnecessary delay.
Is it much earlier before the date issued by the ircc on their site or that very date or later from that day? Have seen people submitted early but still delayed in a way. I am for winter 2022. I deferred from this September though cos i couldn't meet up with the submission in May 15th last month.

How do i save the docs (Immf) and upload in my GC-key account?

Assuming am to get an additional reference letter about me from my uni, from my project supervisor, do you think he is going to have the letter headed paper of the school.
(Wanted to ask here first before i decided to ask from him or not)

Thank you!

I recently saw a 40 year old and a 31 year old get visas on this thread. Don't let your age deter you as many 30+ have gotten their visas here.

Step 1- Apply for admission for masters. Get funding/scholarship from the school if possible.

Step 2- Pay part or full school fees.

Step. 3- Gather your documents and apply for visa.

Good morning good people. I am new here though I have been following the thread. I need help on how to go about my dream graduate study in Canada. I graduated from Ekiti State University with a 2:1 in Economics and Education. I am 31 and still single. Please kindly advise on my chances and the necessary requirements as I am a newbie.

Thanks in Anticipation.

Guys please how do I get my trf from British Council? I need it asap in order to meet up with my nse deadline. Do I have to go to their office in ikoyi to get it?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Mofolam: 7:37pm On Jun 04, 2021
If you enrolled for a 2 year program and you decide to accelerate your studies to finish in 1 year. You are qualified for a 3yrs pgwp. Your program will be still be seen as what it is (a 2 yr program) just make sure you submit a loe when applying for your pgwp.
But note that as long as you are enrolled you must not work more than 20hrs. Even during summer when other international students are doing 40hrs.

The Trf would be sent to the home address you used when filling the form for your test online.

Hope this helps.

Yes this is very much correct it would mean you have to sacrifice your summer to meet up to the 2 extra semester for a 1year accelerated program that should have been 2yrs

Hope this helps
