Have you ever been blocked before?

Never Ever been blocked.
My ratings has only dropped once to 4.62 on bolt. It’s always in btw 4.82 to 4.85.
I have a sweet and cool temper grin and maybe my car helps too.
Let me also add , I don’t argue or raise my voice with riders, I just keep mute no matter what is happening.

Mine dropped from 4.83 to 4.63 and now to 4.53 within 2 days and now I'm thinking next is blocking. Couldn't figure why, every rider I carried seemed nice with nice conversation and all and my activity score seems okay or so I think.

Dear colleagues, believe it or not e hailing in Nigeria is slave labour not to be used as a permanent source of income. Considering the risks and stress.
Make sure whatever you get from it is fuelling your escape plan.
Even their bonuses are useless.
Whenever they realize you are hitting your target. They start sending you long pickups.
As if challenging you to cancel.
I usually pickup and tell the person how far I am and he will cancel.
But if you meet some wicked babes they will insist you come then cancel when u are half way there.
Just yesterday I got a pickup if 17 minutes. Outside the radius I set.
I just gave up and didn't answer.
But the recent issue is how do you guys protect your tyres and suspension now that we are entering rainy season?
Two days back I had to drop a rider in a flooded place and my back left tyre was punctured in two places.
This evening I passed through a flood and dropped a rider. As soon as we exited the flood I heard my front left tyre hissing.
I came out to meet it flat. I suspect it's even damaged.
The rider fee of 1.8k minus bolt commission and my fuel is nothing compared to the cost of getting another tyre.
So please do you guys have any tips for reducing maintenance cost during rainy season?
Especially tyres and shock absorbers.

Filter trips

don't chase weekly bonus concentrate
more on weekend bonus

During rainy season filter trips to areas you have prior knowledge about so you can know where and where to route through

Learn to stick to your NO ! Enlighten them that what you are driving is a car and not a canoe or boat.

Peace

I disagree with you...

Whenever it's raining and you're not on a trip, don't let surge get over your thinking faculty of starting your ignition to hustle. Stay put in your car and chill till the rains stopped.

Select your trips although trips will keeps on coming in but if you truly follow this thread, you'll understand some locations you dont go during raining season.

Bolt/Uber will give you trips base on your location nothing concern them if you're chasing bonus or not. (Tech is randomly selecting trips for you not human being). It's basically a programming

Always target 2 to 3 long trips to meet your savings target.

Dont and never join the gang of people saying ehailing is slavery whatever instead praise God you're getting 2-5k profit a day. Some white collar jobs you admire out there, are nothing to write home about. Some are going home without being paid for months.

Always keep this below statement on your left hand

This is why the advantage of carrying out every trips or 90% trips you receive during dry season it's keeps you inform of no go areas during the wet seasons.

In the aspect of tyers picking up nails, there's really nothing one can do to prevent that but just follow safety roles, gauge your tyers well and make sure your spare tyers are ok.

Boss so as experience as you're on ehailing you don't believe what the guy is saying? Who told you it's just a programme? Pure lies.

I've made several post on this especially with Bolt. Bolt bonus is a scam, the moment they notice you're 2/3 trips to hit the bonus they either stop giving you trips, giving you long pickup or giving you long distance trips so you don't get to complete the challenge. This has happened to me severally.

3 different occasions that one I was so mad 4:30pm I was in festac town for good 2hrs and not a single trip on bolt, I drove around from one street to another nothing, few minutes later I got a 2.5km PU, called rider I was coming arrived waited for more than 10min I didn't see rider the moment I called "rider cancelled", I smiled. Turned on my Indriver app. Got a trip immediately to island and left my Bolt app on to c how far. I asked My rider to request me with her phone while we where in serious traffic around 2nd gate under that bridge. To my greatest surprise her request went to another driver. I needed just 1 trip to hit the 7k bonus so I'd wanted to use that trip to complete it.

Immediately the campaigned ended I started getting trips as usual I just looked at them and i laughed. But these things don't happen with Uber, they're more modest, transparent and straightforward the only odd against uber is their adamant refusal to review destination of their riders else many drivers would have jumped ship a long time.

Yes it is slavery to some point, but try to get your kick before it all nosedive. Things are truly hard in these country right now and I honestly don't know how many people that survive purely on honest means without undercover. Don't know how many people that receive 250k per month in this country, but ordinary mini flat, is edging towards 500/600k per year, most ppl now combine money to rent house, just to tell you is not easy anywhere as tot.

Yes, but later shoot a mail for me to go do another training so they can unblock me, but then I was enjoying Uber badly. Indriver came and I jumped on it, my documents got expired on Uber, including inspection and I didn't bother to upload them. I can understand the surge that comes on those platforms, but my daily target lately have been 15k person and Indriver make me achieve that with ease. I don't go beyond ogba/ikeja to Kusenla and back, just one straight road and I'm done for the day(I even have clients that I know where they will b at a particular point in time and will obviously pick me once, no matter d time interval), I don't have any business with Abule Egba, Festac or Badore with Indriver.

Most of these things are fault of the drivers, one will b dragging trip with rider, one driver will just come from no where and voom! Rider gone ... Pope...U must be on serious mountain on a daily basis to be getting 5k to and 5k fro on Indriver...only serious prayers can make u achieve that on a daily.

I still wonder how u guys still prefer Indriver to UBER/BOLT....I could understand when there was no commission but since they started commission, I don't think I have done upto 5trips on Indriver and most of them have been around past 12midnight when Bolt app has closed. Why will I be driving with panic of traffic and constantly recalculating how much I would have gotten on the same trip if it was Bolt/Uber.
Why will anybody not like to collect free N19,500 Bonus on Bolt every week...I call it free because the t&c are very very easy to meet.
And I have come to the conclusion that it is as a result of lack of choice or lack of knowledge. I want to believe most guys that do Indriver alone have been blocked by Uber and Bolt, if that is not the case and u are not netting 15k daily (commission and fuel) on ur dear Indriver, better ditch that App and return to Bolt. Except u no like money like me grin ... Bolt has made me forget where the Uber App is located in my phone sef even though Uber drivers are also cresting and hitting x3.0 surge, if they weren't making it on Uber too, nobody will drive that Moove. Sometimes I start d day around 2pm and I still net 10k (fuel&commission)...This is My little advise.

Very very true, people don’t know how to position when they are two or three trips to bonus. For example yesterday around 9 pm I realized I have 4 more trips to go and I was in Ajao Estate. No request again for more than 20 minutes and then a request to Ejibgo, No way I need short trips. I just set destination and decided to blow empty to Surulere or yaba.
Got trip to mushin from mushin to lere to Aguda to lere etc till 11:15 pm when I had to off app, request was coming like water on 1.9 surge till I got tired of driving in surge and off app.
So let nobody deceive newbies that trips are manipulated cos of bonus. Bolt no get time to dey monitor one driver cos of 13k.
Position is key in this hustle, there are some places in Lagos dt u can’t stay for more than 2mins without getting request...
