How many chinese do you see on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube when compared to their population.
People who need it use it. Same as what app. The Chinese have an alternative, and being a country that doesn't speak English, their local platforms is more than enough.
What alternative do we have?

Twitter played a major role in #ENDSARS and the country is yet to recover from the spillover violence since then, the country is drifting into war all thanks to the drummers of war assembled on Twitter, twitter has a sizeable population of IPOB miscreants hell bent to use the platform to destabilize the country.

Back to the topic, switching to VPN is like wilfully handing your personal data to a criminal all because you are been chased by someone you dislike.

Use VPN and surrender your life...worst decision for the unwise.

Life existed before the birth of twitter and life won't end with the ban or death of twitter.

Lastly, most of you celebrating the use of vpn don't know vpn too can be blocked should the government follow that route, China has blocked the use of some vpn, Government is collecting the list of vpn all of you are ignorantly posting here and very soon those vpn won't work again.

Then we'll switch to VPS or residential IP

Waste of time.

Free Vpns are slow and most times drain your data. Also vpn can be banned.

Apparently, most Nigerians on Twitter are already suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, acting like they cant live without Twitter.
Oga shut up. You can’t ban VPN. Aboki wey no sabi anything.
Ps: just Incase anybody need vpn, I have 5 10-year premium Windscribe vpn accounts. Free of charge

Most users of Twitter and American social media in China are government officials. They use those platforms for properganda.

Anyway as for us, we will have to create an alternative, whether we like it or not.

This wil be a test for our entrepreneurs and tech guys.

I wont argue with a kid.

Vpn can be banned.

Many sites do not allow VPN connections

Do you even know what is vpn blocking, go and educate yourself.

Also vpn companies also have to work with regulations of a country to avoid law suits.

Isn't this VPN many Internet fraudsters use?

No loud am!

Internet fraudsters do use it but that does not mean it's not used for good

Legit hustlers use it to access sites like clickbank and the likes of CPA marketing sites that are restricted to Nigeria and other countries

Nigerians no get time to activate VPN in order to access Twitter. Lot of people don't even have Twitters account. With time, Twitter will die a natural death here.

All your chestbeating and bragging.

If you can cause choas in 9ja cyberspace, why haven't you done it since, after all someone here in Nigeria hacked a bank database and was caught flawlessly.

Vpn pass vpn but vpn are operated by companies who are registered. Even the most secured vpn companies follow regulations and can be banned.

In most cases vpn companies can also give logs to Government if they demand for it.

Fyi, how many Nigerians can afford to maintain a paying subscription for a very good vpn.

Needless replying you. Please focus on your cow business. It’s obvious you got no idea about what I’m talking about. Mumu don’t know that those top vpn I mentioned do not store logs, and have won many cases against the United States governments in court over their log policy. Iike I said, I’m not trained for the purpose of causing chaos and stealing from organizations. No, I adhere to ethics. Only if Nigerian youths have access to the black market, una for see chaos well.
