“Office Of The First-Lady” Is Highly Unconstitutional by BluntCrazeMan: 11:56am On Jun 05, 2021 |
The Nigerian Constitution did not support the “Office of the First Lady”, neither did any of the “Acts” or “Official Gazettes” support it. Not even a single State-law supported such positions for the whole of the 36 States. .. Even if they change it to “Office of the Wife of the President” or ”Office of the Wife of the State Governor”, that does not still make it a part of the “Office of the Presidency” or “Office of the State Governor”. .. The Constitution Review is currently ongoing, and none of the numerous aides of these wrongly-placed women/wives came out to make their own inputs as regards to the constitutional provisions of the offices of their principals. |

Nbote:That's it. There shouldn't also be “Office of the wife of the president”. I mean, what's the constitutional functions and obligations of such Offices? And the offices shouldn't be accommodated officially within the Official Space of the Presidency (or the Governor). .. I see States having “Office of the wife of the State Governor” situated inside the official premises of the Government House |

Constitution only works on paper in Nigeria, not in practice and that'S why the country is lawless and backward. No society can function without stringent laws that all must abide by. Even the neanderthal legal system could have been better than what we have today in Nigeria. 1 Like 1 Share |

redsun: That's just it.. And if the Constitution is reviewed, it won't still be put to work. .. People are shouting that this present Constitution should be thrown out, and a new one should be written. But they have not even obeyed up to 20% of what was written inside this current Constitution. |

BluntCrazeMan: The lawlessness of Nigeria is the bone of contention. If there are laws, all the politicians with most of the so-called judges and legal luminaries will be in jail for the atrocities they commit and there won't be any need for the senseless killings, maiming and incessant calls for division. If there are laws buhari won't ban twitter just because they caught him out for being a loser like trump. 1 Like 1 Share |

redsun:My Brother, a typical Nigrian would have told you to “reduce the volume.” A typical member of the legislature would have told you to “Off Your Microphone”. |
