Rollsnjaguar: Please I need experienced advice.
I have been searching jiji for a car. I saw this honda civic 2006 Nigerian used.
The owner is selling for 1.350k and so far I have priced to 900k.
What are mine to watchout for so as not to buy problem for myself.
The seller says car is buy and drive, nothing to repair.
All document intact.
How do I comfirm that this car don't have any problem.
I don't have a mechanic yet to follow me down for inspection.
Pictures of the car below.
Car location is Ogba, Lagos. Thats a 2006 model Honda civic. Sold as brand new from Honda place and other major dealers. That means the car has been used in Nigeria since 2006/2007. Infact this particular one was sold by Honda place. (Sticker still visible on rear windshield). Do what you can with this information. 4 Likes |

Thanks man. I used to call them to know the situation the of the pickup and drop off . Many riders lie so I guess ur method is better. But won't it shoot up my cancellation rate. Secondly I remember a product that was marketed to me years back, before uber. They said it's a liquid sealant which they use to line the insides of your tyre to prevent air leakage when punctured. Does anyone have experience with this? Yes yes.... I've also heard about that product very powerful product like that... One of my regular rider's spouse used to work with the company. If you can still lay hands on their contact go get it and pls provide is with reviews about the product because that nail matter enh no be only you e dey affect, me self I spend 1-2k every month fixing tyers from nail punctures |

SokizzRaven: Yesterday, I took this two ladies from GIGM park at Ajah (close to Abraham Adesanya intersection) to an Estate off Ogombo road (well at least that’s what the bolt app displayed)
On our way, as I approached Abraham Adesanya, I checked Gmap to double check I was taking the right turn then I saw ‘you have arrived’ . For a Sec I was confused (but there is no estate for this intersection now, abi which kind wahala be this) then I took the turn. Just before raising an alarm I decided to check on the map myself with their estate name, (buzz!) na still same location
Then I asked the riders where they’re going to, they explained it’s deep inside ogombo and not here, that it must have been a glitch in the map or something.
So to the reason I am sharing this. I drove like 10min from Abraham Adesanya and like 6min off Ogombo road (note there are no traffic along this route). We got to their destination just before ending the trip, I saw 15min to trip completion. So I asked these ladies to change their destination to a landmark I picked up as we were approaching, them no wan gree o! Saying it’s the first time they will be experiencing this. That no driver as ever complained of their address or anything. I tried educating them on how the bolt algorithm works with Kilometers and time (them no gree listen o)
One of them come cap it all with the fact that they have never paid more than #600 for such trips, I was like what?? 20min of uninterrupted driving for #600? Stop playing with me ( you’ve been reaping a lot of drivers off their sweat it ends today )
Well With so much persuasion, they changed destination to the landmark, trip ended #1700. They were shocked! They frowned o but I made sure I took all my money (wetin concern me). After taking 2 more trips my ratings dropped, I know say na them
My Point is a lot of drivers especially we the new drivers, I not inclusive though (much thanks to this forum for this) still don’t understand how the algorithm works and in turn lose money, then complain of taking to many #500 trips Just end the trip. It changes nothing. 1 Like |

The only thing I’m against and will never agree with is the phrase “Ehailing is better than career salary earners”. I picked a young guy in suit cool boy, we got gisting and he said he wants to join the hustle that a driver told him to resign is 200k job cos d driver earns 150 k every week. I screamed liiiieeeeee. He said no 150k before commission and that he’s left with 120k every week. I still shouted liar driver. Told him the real Koko and the guy agreed he won’t resign but will start driving on weekends. The worst thing a young man will do in Nigeria of today is to resign a job to come and drive Are you saying a young man earning 50-60k should rather not resign? Because this is what most young people earn nowadays. |

You see why I don't always believe the 100k shit. Whoever is on rental should have more reason to push more. This will make them independent quickly. A 50 week scenario of 100k weekly is 5million bucks. Rental @30K weekly is 1.5 million. No repairs cos, it's the principal that handles that. Let's say 25k weekly as salary @ 50 weeks. 1.25 million. and that is very generous. A lot of white collar folks don't earn more than 100k At the end of the year you still have clean 2 million to buy a tokunbo car. But we all know, this is paper calculation . If it was that easy, then most people won't do rent more than a year. They should have bought their personal car within a year of doing rentals. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Nice one bros. I always do this especially wen i wan carry long trip especially from 10km above. Anf also don’t take alternate route prescribed that is short in kilometer but longer in time. Bolt always use shorter time route to calculate price rather than shorter km. Always take faster route to avoid price miscalculation If u no u no 2 Likes |

Irrespective of the location or season on bolt a driver is not supposed to spend up to that time to receive a request.
As a matter of fact I've never stayed 30min on any app without getting a request so why does it had to occur at such a critical time? It callls for questioning and investigation.
Those persons that believe it's just a program so doesnt not have the ability to distinguish btw a driver that is chasing bonus or not I just look and laugh at their ignorant. Programming is one of the easy ways to manipulate anything you the programmer wants to happen. You can manipulate things with just an introduction of letters, characters, symbols or numbers just know what you want and the time then know the right language to input and the right line to input it, run the programme and its done. Simple as ABC.
Dont wait till it happens to you before you believe it. I have experienced this alot of times so i no it’s possible but Manipulate the manipulator |

All of these will happen in less than 2yrs. This is the reason I pity those going into HP because most of them would still be paying up for a car that would have dropped in value and also those that thinks it's not business wise to sell off a car they've own for more than 3yrs and will still make profit. The normal me self dont use car more than 2yrs, at most 3yrs I sell it off. |
