Agric and IT. Though, I have an acronym I follow called RENTALS. It stands for

1. Real Estate (housing, hotel, etc.)
2. Entertainment (music, movies, sport, mobile/computer games, etc)
3. Natural Resources (renewable energy, crude, gold, etc.)
4. Technology (IT, trading, manufacturing, security devices, etc.)
5. Agricultural
6. Loan/Lending
7. Services (like school, transportation, import/export, health, wealth creation, etc.)

I laugh because you haven't seen how fast some online businesses can change one's financial status in a short time. I used to have doubts about this online stuffs until I made my first six figure through one of them. Then a lady got all my pistons firing when she made her first seven figures. Now, While we both have our white collar jobs, we milk from both sides.

Look at it this way...

To make enough money from Barbing, you have to scale right, and the only way to do that is: either you increase the quality of your Barbing services (like Installing a Plasma TV, an air-conditioning system, repainting the room, and so on) or you increase the quantity/number of Barbers in the shop. That is hiring more capable hands who are also skillful. Which means you have more people to pay salary.

Thing is, there will always be a cap (limit) over what you can earn from barbing because you can't keep employing more hands, and the speed of employee A can't be that of employee B.. So that if the maximum no of customers all of you can attend to in a day is say 20, you can't exceed that 20 even if you open your shop in the midnight. That's what I mean by a cap over your earning power.

But when you look at some online businesses, you will realise that the biggest asset they have is the internet space. Think FB, YouTube, Google, Instagram, Linkedln, TikTok, Snapchat and the others you know...How many people visit these platforms in just one hour... Now you get the gist.

There's simply no cap to your earning power. And the sweet thing about one of them is that; apart from leveraging on the online space, you can leverage on offline businesses like the barbing and leverage on solving people's problems or providing solutions to their needs/wants.

To say you can earn #400k in a month, is putting a cap over it... There's simply no limit to your earning power.

If these five 'Things' are available:

Needs/wants
Solution
Technology
Skill ****

Then you can tie a business around it and make so much money on automation.

Knowledge is simply money.

This your post is based on several unwarranted assumptions.

No 1... white collar jobs that pay 25 to 30k na brown collar job....graduate entry in a reputable organisation pay from 150 to 300k minus bonus and allowances. Then salary increases over the years depending on the company.
There are many jobs that pay average of 500k to over a million.

2. You made barbing and selling of popcorn quite easily done on paper. Your calculations of daily earnings to monthly and annual earnings is completely flawed. Did you consider the high cost of rent, paying employees, electricity and other Bill, competition is crazy, plus money to settle boys.

While a white collar job doesn't suffer risk of an entrepreneur, they enjoyed salary during the pandemic, whether rain fall or not, whether rent increased or not, they were paid salaries unlike most of these artisans that almost died of hunger during the pandemic

Actually, most of these so-called dirty jobs bring in money more than the so-called white-collar job. The only thing is that most of the people that do the former do not know money management. They tend to spend it on women and drinks and food. I know of a roadside mechanic that told us he makes about 300k a month. But if you look at him, he is suffering. He told us he wastes his money on nonsense. I know of a market woman selling stock fish that has properties in different places.

The real difference wjy white collar jobs saves more is the peaceful environment they enjoy. These jackboiz that makes more money or income have you considered the rough environments in which they make it? Coupled with the stress, the energy put into getting the work done, etc fos instance a mechanic makes more yes but the needs alot of energy i mean real energy not just someone sitting on a chair under an AC, so after working this same mechanic is all stressed out and needs some place to ease of before u know it 4bottles of beer is down, he ends off relaxing with a call girtl and in a night almost half of all those 6figures he worked is almost gone. The white collar guy earns little yes but he gets to keep that little on top the Chilled acc, plus a nice working environment (aside a boss shouting on you though).

So my ppl somehow someway white collar especially the self employed is key
