Comrades. I think we should give Felicity001 days of activity on this thread. Say once a week, or once a fortnight.
His tales here are too long and mentally draining to cope with.
Someone would just want to breeze in and out of the thread for 5mins, and his long epistles won't allow you.
Why will a sane person use over 2000words to make a single point? 17 Likes |

Why will u sell a car u used for 2-3yrs if the car was well maintained and is still in good condition? Just curious...I know when people sell cars, it's because they are tired of it and want a change or they are buying a new one and need space or wouldnt have need for the old one again. But when u r into transportation, d only time u sell a car is if the car is giving u more problems than the money it is making. Well except u need urgent bulk cash. But this one u r planning it way ahead of time...I just want to know Jokes aside I dont think I can use a Corolla or a civic for more than 2yrs weather it's still in good shape or not. Well, I can't explain further shall, my papa didn't live that kind life, so my brain has been programmed that way. You get. So if car is bought for business purpose and I've made the money out of it and can afford to get a better one then I sell off, count my profit or take my lose, ahead ahead. Nice one there, it's good you called your contact wt d LASG. I detest exploitation.
Lastma, vio n Lagos traffic officers r very inhumane. How can you say a car that broke down on the road becomes illegal parking?
There's a signpost that towing on Lekki epe expressway is free. I have never seen that in practice.....Just greedy lastma officers with their towing vans trying to exploit an already frustrated car user. 5 Likes |

yeye guy
Ok make I react to your post b4 you go c9me think say I dey beef you.
How dare you think in your little mind that a customer care rep who earns N70k (b4 task oh) can work for 3yrs and japa or get a better job?
Why u dey always mumu your self and displaying your ignorance online all the time self?
Come, you don ever come across anybody that works as a customer care agent with say MTN or Airtel b4? Those guys don't have a life believe me when I tell you this. 4days stretch and 3days off... They spend 2days sleeping and the other 1 day washing their cloths and going back to work to resume a 24hrs/4days without sleeping again... This raining season thats coming now na serious challenge to them because sites are always going down due to rainfall and wind. Watin you even know about Nigeria labour market self? Where have you worked b4? You get certificate? You dey mumu ooo.
So it's a thing of pride for a masters degree holder to take a job that pays below 100k? Chai! See how foolish you're? I'd rather not waste my money on a child for him/her to have a MSc and pick a job that pays that less. Let that child go learn a trade then I establish him then cime back after he's 24 and compare the one with a PhD.
You even talked of traveling abroad or getting a better job? Which job? For where? Inside this obodo 9ja? Guy be careful with me ooh
Its a different thing if the job is a staffing job or with attractive salary( say 300k above) self not a contract job. Do you know how many have worked with Shell, Chevron,Mobil and many commercial banks as contract workers for 10, 15, 20yrs and above without any significant progress in life apart from having children and training them to secondary or the lucky ones to tertiary level? The day the company decides to drop them is the end. No benefit, no nothing just the salary for the numbers of days the person worked in that particular month. That's all! The person is left with virtually nothing to go home with. All his youthful life wasted! No strength to hustle again. Those are the old men you see driving uber today. I pity them ooh.
young man, no let me vex ooo.
Do you have an idea of the kinds of achievement an average hard working and intelligent uber driver can achieved in just a little space of time say 3yrs? I know a few who have built house, invest in business and are still driving till today. Graduates oooh. So dont say what you don't know or have first hand experience about plz.
Those people that first started Uber when it first came into Nigeria go and make a finding of how their lives is now, the ones that have sense oooh not people like you.
Abeg no read this post finish go drink snipper oo na in peace I come oo All this epistle on sunday morning. I will read it when I get back from church You too get power 10 Likes |

Boss e hailing can't b compare to some jobs out dia, e hailing stress is not here biko... it's fun taking break working for other ppl, playing around, most times I envy those guys in staff buses, like yesterday traffic... I'll just carry straight sleep, my ticket can never cut, unless the driver try to sleep on steering. As a driver, u have to focus from morning till night, Indriver made it worst, at least on Uber or Bolt u can sleep till ur phone beeps, but Indriver? With Shollywendy finger the speed of light is a learner. I don't see anyone of us here still doing this in d next 5 yrs, tho is possible, but I don't pray for such The good thing about ehailing, is that u can plan, ur destiny is in ur hands, if u want to make 50k a month, it's in ur hands, if u want to make 100k it's in ur hands, if u want to make 200k it's in ur hands. Just work it out. You actually can beat your chest and say in 5yrs this is what I would have achieved, unlike 70k salary job. My comparison of ehailing with 8-5 is if ur salary is not upto 150k I have made this clear over and over. At the end it's still a personal choice, if u want to do ur 100k salary job, by all means...it's ur choice, cos u know ur body, u have aspirations and u know what u can do and tolerate. As for me, I can't go into paid employment again except they are ready to pay 400k minimum. Only fools doubt proof and it is foolishness to be shameful of what is gainful. I will only continue to show/highlight the potentials in this biz. I value my time. This week I worked only 4days and I have netted 80k already, if I enter road later today, I can easily make 10k. It's not easy but I prefer this to sitting in the office and getting peanuts at the end of the month... I have my freedom, and I can still do other things on the side. Driving has its downsides because if u don't work, no money for u, but even in paid employment, d day u r absent without permission, ur salary is slashed, u will answer querry and if repeated u risk losing ur job. Moreover, what u make in 1day, if u decide to sleep d next day u r still fine. Also, It can be boring, but just find how to motivate yourself. Finally, I understand it's not always about money, everyone has d liberty to choose what he wants to do with his/her life in other to feel fulfilled and accomplish purpose. I sincerely hope Baz001 and others will see this post, read it well and understand it so tomorrow they will not misrepresent my stand. 19 Likes 2 Shares |

But they don't have the guts to do it ... Entrepreneur is not for everyone . for people to exceed above average in life . you have to go above and beyond... These guys are not build the way you are built. People are not willing to work and put in the time to achieve things.. If you know the amount of hours sacrifice the likes of Dangote, Adenuga and co put in to become where they are today.. The average mind will not comprehend it. This is why alot of rich guys will not tell you how to make money. They will tell to go figure it out on ur own..... 6 Likes 1 Share |

You've spoken the unbiased truth without being condescending or demeaning to anyone. Thank you for this. Sometime last year I bought a minibus (korope), because I wanted to supplement my day job that only pays about 100k per month. After making enquiries and driving part time I found out realised I could make my monthly salary in two weeks. Why would I now want to stay at that job when I can better my life in a shorter time frame? My advice to anyone considering e-hailing is simple. Nothing good comes easy, if you see something wey go give you money faster that is legit, do it! Na who get money fit progress come talk of going abroad. 8 Likes 1 Share |

@ dav1002 don't listen to that advice in bold otherwise you'll keep going wrong the circle like the op. Just like I've advised b4, get your parts and materials yourself and if you trust his expertise take it to him let him fix it then pay for his labour. Be good to people and always learn to know that humans are bound to make mistakes atbsome point, in fact silly mistakes. You and I too not exempted. Thoses mechanics you see have a common mentality especially the less educated ones so you that is more enlighten can help them understand better but if the person you're trying to help grow is refusing to grow then you can leave him/her and move on to the next who is willing to accept. Then calling the Governor's army guy. All of them follow this man talk politely without flexing muscle before dem and dem no be riffraff .
I once mention it here that if anybody hold anyone of you for Oshodi call me. Make you pass 1 way you are covered. This is not mouth it is me paying my dues as at when due. Lol .... We hear bros .... I was able to confirm the location of the incident. The incident occurred at Magodu ... And my car was taken to Lasma office in Oshodi. Once it enters their office like that forget am .nothing u fit do at all .. If you like go call the battalion they no go answer you ..... Once those lasma stop you like that the best thing is to settle them before it gets to their office... Anything before that you have advantage...but once the matter reach their office u have enter their trap........ When driver brought in his army friend that was when the lasman were determine to flex their power. They told the driver to go and bring the owner of the car etc . After sometime they said he should get out off their office..but lucky for me a friend of mine that is highly connected quickly made few phone call to the Top Oga ..... The rest is history 1 Like |
