Hi guys,

Thanks for always helping out. I need your help again. My tiler gave me an estimate and suggested that I should use 60×60 Spain, Italian or CDK for the ante room, sitting room, and dining room. Then use Good wlll for other places in the house.

After making my findings I got to know that spain, Italian, and CDK are between 9k and 10k. This is expensive for me. Please, can you suggest the best Nigerian product with almost the same quality as those imported tiles that I can use and get at an affordable price?

Thanks!

I am interested in this as well. I am looking for good quality Nigeria tile for Kitchen and bathroom wall and bathroom floor

Goodwill has good 60*60 tiles that you can use. You can as well ask for Royal tiles.

All Nigerian tiles are good. Just make proper enquiry. I was a pro Italian/Spanish tile before but the prices are on the high side and I needed to save money to do other things. I first bought a few Nigerian tiles to be used in the bathrooms and kitchen to see how it would look.

The tiler has completed the visitors toilets with the Nigerian Goodwill tiles and I am now constrained to use Nigerian made tiles 100% for the whole areas of the building. Attached is the first work did by the tiler (visitors toilet) using Nigerian tiles and it turned out good the way I wanted. I earlier wanted to use white Spanish wall tiles and brown wooden floor tiles. The Nigerian own still appeared ok.

If you are building on a budget, save yourself the stress and channel the extra fund to other things. Cement for the tiling is not smiling at the moment.

Question for our resident tile gurus. I come in peace to drink from your well of knowledge.

So it’s happened twice now. Some tiles, immediately after tiling, have a different hue than the rest.

Of course the timer said they’ll all dry to be uniform. It never happened.

So what’s the cause? How to avoid?

Muchas Gracias.

It happens..most especially plain tiles...It's error from the factory though

You’re right, they’re plain white and plain brown tiles.

How do I avoid this in the future?

This is nice. Very nice. But it is looking more like a block of offices than a shopping complex.

I've got something similar when I'm able to travel (pandemic things). Simple well thought out commercial complex is the way to go now than residential. It is faster, cheaper(depending on design) to execute than residential, and brings better returns with less stress.
