Hello Lightswitch007,

It involves three key factors: the workload, backlogs, and/or availability of officers of the "home" primary office (Nairobi; Nigeria) and the "resident" primary office (Manila; Nigeria).

On most occasions, the applications of applicants residing abroad are mostly processed in the visa office of the country they (currently) reside in or the regional visa office of IRCC.

Some other factors could also be any of these reasons under:

- Application of local assessment and survey to reach a decision.
- Visa/Application processing policy change.
- Re-distribution or transfer of the case file for verification and confirmation of fact i.e. employment, sensitive and privy information, etc.
- Transparency and justification without sentiment due to religion, region, and culture bias or prejudice i.e. Christian/Muslim, China/Hong, and Government/LGBTQ+, etc.

Other official reasons could be:

- IRCC discretion
- Priority (Head of States, Head of Governments, Kingdom Rulers, Ministers, Ambassadors, etc.

If you find this post interesting and insightful, don't forget to follow GCMSWriters on Instagram, Telegram, Twitter for more insightful updates.

Best of Luck
Thank you JustMellow. Very insightful

You can apply at once or you apply after your SP has been approved.
It is always advisable to apply alone first.

In our case we apply for all together.
This is God's grace.

1) NO... but why a diploma?
2) NO.. everything is online
3) Paying or not paying doesnt guarantee but paying helps to show genuineness towards your study pursuit.

Thanks for your response.
I'm sponsoring my niece. I do not live in Nigeria. Please, what documents should I submit for her visa application? I can identify the following
1) Employment offer
2) Tax return
3)Bank statement
4)Resident permit
5) Stocks statement from the broker

She works at the bank so expect her to provide her bank statement of account and employment offer.
Is there any other document to submit?

I can comfortably sponsor her, but other members of the family also want to include their documents too since the have good jobs too. Is this an advantage or disadvantage?

Please, I beg for your reply.
Thanks

This is duly noted. My LOE and her letter of sponsorship actually speak to this, but as advised we’ll make her letter more detailed.

Thank you for the advise, appreciate

JustMellow:

Hello Ritzzybaron,

It might make no sense that your sibling is a PR, resides in the same city as your DLI, she is also a co-sponsor of your education in the same country, she is deemed eligible to sponsor; why won't she also not want to shelter you to lessen expenses given the high accommodation cost in Canada?

If I was to be a VO, I will base my assessment on these factors in assessing this part of your application.

No harm spelling it out for the VO. It all depends on how much clarity was given. Get her to do a separate letter stating the availability of space in the house, the number of people that it contained, and the kind of apartment that will be made available to you.

The letter should also contain her employment status, information, and/or details. If she would be responsible for your feeding, it should be stated as well.

It should also help the VO understand how the cost will be offset (especially if she has a family) without it being a threatful financial interference to her (source of) income.

I second her suggestion. Note that the discussion been talked about can be left out too without having issues. Everything boils to how well the study intent was justified.

Best of Luck

Hello HaywhyA,

Is it a postgraduate certificate course you are going in for? Or an ordinary certificate, please be specific so people can be clear on how to advise you. Cheers

HaywhyA:
Hello,

Please do you think I have chances of getting a study visa for a certificate course? I have a bachelor degree already from Nigeria.

I’ll advise you to keep raising webforms until you get a confirmation that your medicals have been received. You can also message Qlife at
canadamedicals@qlifefamilyclinic.com for information on whether your medicals have been uploaded.

There is also the possibility that some action is going on your application behind the scenes. There are cases where nothing is seen happening on the portal before a decision is made. Just stay strong and keep raising those webforms.
