Just because some people and very few in numbers were able to get study permit in a difficult circumstance such as going for a program that's of a lower academic level or applying with ones family, don't mean that's the way to go. With every 1 applicant that gets approval in such similar situation, hundreds more are denied. One could submit a perfect application with a flawless SOP and still be denied on grounds that there's no academic progression. Most VOs will look for the slightest reason to deny one an approval, and with a Nigerian passport, the odds are already against us. 4 Likes |

Please how do I order the GCMS NOTE? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Johanneiyoha(f): 8:55pm On Jun 07, 2021 |
Pls is it possible to do biometrics and medical same date. As in booking for medical and doing it same day with biometrics? Don't reschedule. You will still do it once you get there. If I had known, I would have done my Biometrics and Medical same day and saved myself some time and money. My Biometrics appointment was for 8:30, got their by 10am due to some delays and left their withing 20 minutes...should have gone for the medicals same day but I already booked for the next day. So, relax![/quote] |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Ebonieblack: 9:00pm On Jun 07, 2021 |
Johanneiyoha: It is very possible provided you were scheduled to do both on the same day and also booked medicals with Qlife as it's on the Island with VFS. Any other arrangement might fail because this is Lagos with unpredictable traffic situations |

Mobi22: There's totally nothing in the preassessment notes to even give a clue as to why they have indicated 'Review Required'. |

Ahhh It hasn’t gotten to this The guy stated fact , just because it worked for A doesn’t make it standard ! What if B tries and it fails? We are all here to help each other. Oreoluwamipo: 4 Likes |

Oreoluwamipo: Bro, like I always say, if we disagree on a subject, there's a way to do so politely. I know that you had the best intentions when you countered what Anon said, but your approach was a little abrasive. Shupy might have come off a little too harsh, even though it was in defense to your cutting remark to Anon. And all these reactions have spiraled down to throwing of insults. Please don't be offended. Shupy don't be offended. Anon don't be offended. We are one family here. 19 Likes 1 Share |

Lianna2020: We are all here to learn true, but the way the “ “anon” guy stated it was like it has never happened before with so much certainty Even people with perfect application and career progression get denied too for flimsy reason. There’s no standard and manual to this thing. The rejection rate will always be higher than the approval rate. But what we can do is encourage people who have submitted their study permit with lower career progression to submit the best application they can, not state it like you are the VO handling the application. it dosent take anything to be positive. I know couple of people who have gotten PPR with lower career progression and diploma certificate. It’s difficult and probably not the standard. But it’s not impossible!!! It will end in praise This is a guy who got PPR going for his second BSC 4 Likes

ManLikeB: @ManlikeB, Congratulations on your admission. Which school in Montreal? This one you're sounding like you just got to know Montreal is in Québec (a French speaking province), did you apply for the admission yourself or someone helped you apply? CAQ is no big deal. It requires minimal documentation and you'll have to pay the fees of $ CAD115. Turnaround time to get it is 1 month or less. By the way, I'll be going to Québec too come September. I'm done with my application and waiting for approval, fingers crossed. 1 Like |

Hi @Frankrobbn1, I followed your advice prior to the screenshot attached below. But My Ex-HR is asking if the letter should be addressed that I worked for the company before termination or addressed that I still work with the company. Please bear in mind the last payment/payslip I received was in March 2020. Also, a letter of termination was issued but do you advise I include it in the documents I'll be submitting or just omit it? Thanks.
