Just because some people and very few in numbers were able to get study permit in a difficult circumstance such as going for a program that's of a lower academic level or applying with ones family, don't mean that's the way to go. With every 1 applicant that gets approval in such similar situation, hundreds more are denied. One could submit a perfect application with a flawless SOP and still be denied on grounds that there's no academic progression. Most VOs will look for the slightest reason to deny one an approval, and with a Nigerian passport, the odds are already against us.

Please how do I order the GCMS NOTE?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by Johanneiyoha(f): 8:55pm On Jun 07, 2021
Pls is it possible to do biometrics and medical same date.
As in booking for medical and doing it same day with biometrics?

Don't reschedule. You will still do it once you get there.
If I had known, I would have done my Biometrics and Medical same day and saved myself some time and money.

My Biometrics appointment was for 8:30, got their by 10am due to some delays and left their withing 20 minutes...should have gone for the medicals same day but I already booked for the next day.

So, relax![/quote]

It is very possible provided you were scheduled to do both on the same day and also booked medicals with Qlife as it's on the Island with VFS. Any other arrangement might fail because this is Lagos with unpredictable traffic situations grin

it depends, what are the reasons for review required?

No reason given. No further comment found as to why it's so.

WhAt does your pre assessment notes say

There's totally nothing in the preassessment notes to even give a clue as to why they have indicated 'Review Required'.

It hasn’t gotten to this

The guy stated fact , just because it worked for A doesn’t make it standard !

What if B tries and it fails?

Delete the email you typed even though it's correct and type it again manually. The box is very sensitive. It would tell you the email is wrong if you paste it there instead of typing manually.
this could be the reason. thanks.i would do it this evening. I am just coming back from work

Bro, like I always say, if we disagree on a subject, there's a way to do so politely. I know that you had the best intentions when you countered what Anon said, but your approach was a little abrasive.

Shupy might have come off a little too harsh, even though it was in defense to your cutting remark to Anon. And all these reactions have spiraled down to throwing of insults.

Please don't be offended.

Shupy don't be offended.

Anon don't be offended.

We are all here to learn true, but the way the “ “anon” guy stated it was like it has never happened before with so much certainty

Even people with perfect application and career progression get denied too for flimsy reason. There’s no standard and manual to this thing. The rejection rate will always be higher than the approval rate.
But what we can do is encourage people who have submitted their study permit with lower career progression to submit the best application they can, not state it like you are the VO handling the application. it dosent take anything to be positive. I know couple of people who have gotten PPR with lower career progression and diploma certificate. It’s difficult and probably not the standard. But it’s not impossible!!!

It will end in praise

This is a guy who got PPR going for his second BSC

Which school in montreal? For which term? For which program?
About applying for CAQ it is a straight forward process that takes around 3weeks to a month before it is issued. You will pay a fee of around 115Cad around 45k naira sha. And u will send ur supporting documents as request by the CAQ checklist through Arima. You can just go through this link to apply http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/electronic-services/caq-electronic/index.html
I will be travelling to McGill University montreal in mid july to start my program in Fall sept 1st to be precise

Good day @toluwarnih

Like I said earlier even after complete the first year getting full funded scholarships for undergraduate program or advanced diploma is close to impossible and if anyone has gotten on this platform you can let the house know how you did it.

I don't quite understand what you mean by fundings for manual jobs but if you mean salaries paid for manual jobs there are certain expenses you must consider like rent, feeding etc and if you want to follow this route you must be extremely strict in your budget and cut unwanted costs.....it won't be easy though as you have to navigate school with work and might not be able to raise the whole fees but all our efforts tends to pay at the right time.

And if you have more questions ask.

Hope this helps.
hmm, it is well.
Thanks so much, I really appreciate

Most schools don't require it for Nigerian applicants but it's essential during visa application.

I recently got admitted into a school in Montreal, to my surprise I found out they are in the French speaking region. I would appreciate if there’s anyone here who knows the region thanks. Will advise me how to carry on

@ManlikeB, Congratulations on your admission. Which school in Montreal?

This one you're sounding like you just got to know Montreal is in Québec (a French speaking province), did you apply for the admission yourself or someone helped you apply?

CAQ is no big deal. It requires minimal documentation and you'll have to pay the fees of $ CAD115. Turnaround time to get it is 1 month or less.

By the way, I'll be going to Québec too come September. I'm done with my application and waiting for approval, fingers crossed.

Hi @Frankrobbn1,

I followed your advice prior to the screenshot attached below.

But My Ex-HR is asking if the letter should be addressed that I worked for the company before termination or addressed that I still work with the company.

Please bear in mind the last payment/payslip I received was in March 2020.

Also, a letter of termination was issued but do you advise I include it in the documents I'll be submitting or just omit it?

Thanks.
