Papapa1234:Don’t be always negative. Even mr anu has forgotten about the incident, but obviously you tryna chase clout! What mr anu is tryna say is all things are possible IN SHA ALLAH. you can’t just rule out something because you think the chances of getting it is slim! What If that’s the only category the applicant fits in? Try to be supportive. Even a person who got a good course and backed it up with a very good doc might end up being rejected! In everything God comes first. Please be supportive. 6 Likes |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by atiteb4: 11:58pm On Jun 07, 2021 |
fredickleo:it depends. Someone with 2.9 I think got into a master's program and got the visa. I have seen 2.2 getting a master's admission. Always check the program requirements. Most programs I have seen requires your last two years of study in the university. Some requires you having a supervisor before you apply. I have 2nd class lower and I got 2 supervisors in 2 different universities in Canada. I also got into a master's program in Canada without securing a supervisor. Just check out the programs requirements 2 Likes |

olabisi6438: Proof with enough evidence your relationship with the sponsor Convince the VO as to why someone not related to you is willing to invest/spend CAD30,000K on you. All the best.. |

hey guys, please i need your urgent reply. i got admission for may intake which is spring but due to visa delays, i deferred my admission, i got a letter from the school today that September batch is already filled up and they gave me a new admission for winter which is january. i want to know if it will affect my visa or further delay it and also, if i get the visa now, can i travel with it or i will have to wait till January before i can travel. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by ohizzy(m): 2:25am On Jun 08, 2021 |
Khamon: To the best of my knowledge, it shouldn't be a problem. You can raise a web form to provide the embassy with your updated LOA or Just chill until you're requested to provide an updated LOA. As regards your travelling before your resumption, with the recent post I've read about people being asked to present their course registration upon arrival it might be a red flag since your program is for Winter. My 2 cents.... 2 Likes |

ManLikeB: You'd get by just fine with English in Montreal as most of the residents are bilingual. As long as you're not too far away from the Downtown axis, you'll be alright. It may help to pick up French if you want to be fully integrated into the social life here but you can do just fine without it. There are lots of Anglophone students like yourself in the city. |

I'll be heading to my school to get a letter of recommendation, my aunt fixed me up with some professors. Are they the ones to send the letters directly to the school I am applying to or I'll do that myself? @justMellow |

RELAN2446: This is VERY SIMPLE if the fund is truly available. Both first and second denial were based on funding/finance. Pay full tuition if it's 1year program. Get GIC deposite for 10k CAD. Thats solves the fund availability issue... and yes, the money would be tied down but never lost. This should be followed up by a strong SOP on how you love your job and also are the heir to family properties and jewel of your parents hence you cannot abandon your parents and siblings and will return after studies. #UnkownCanadian |

olabisi6438: Pay full tuition and get GIC deposit. Easy! A sponsor is mostly valid if funds are proven to be readily available and accessible. The above response solves this doubts. #UnknownCanadian 1 Like |

emekaolu: Pay one year tuition and make a GIC certificate deposit. Then letter of explanation with your W-2 and paystub to show income. Tax transcripts can work too. This is all that's required from a sponsor i.e genuine prove of being a sponsor and have fund available and accessible for the applicant. #UnknownCanadian 1 Like |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by UnknownCanadian: 5:01am On Jun 08, 2021 |
emekaolu: Pay her full tuition and living expenses via GIC and she wouldn't be needing any sponsorship. Providing documents ONLY leaves her chances at 50/50. For prove of fund. Paying full tuition increases the chances with regard to fund availability to 95%. #UnknownCanadian |

Good day gurus in the house. Weldone for helping out. Please I need advice here cos I'm confused on this one. Someone graduated from secondary school since 2015 and has been running her undergraduate studies since same year in a state owned university. She has since written her final exams and is through with all the paper work in school but due to some internal and external crises in the school her results are yet to be released. She wanted to apply for a master's program but no BSc result yet. So she wants to try an undergraduate program. Now the dilemma... 1. Considering that she has left secondary school since 2015 (about 6 years ago) will she be deemed eligible for a study permit even if she gets an admission for an undergraduate degree? 2. Will it not be red flags that she has been idle for over 6 years? 3. Is there an exam she should write before securing admission or study permit? She said she looked through some university website and it wasn't expressly stated whether she can apply with Nigeria SSCE or not. 4. Please help with university(ies) that she can apply to if she is eligible considering the issues I raised above. She wanna study BSc Biology. God's favour on all applications. |
