ddjay:This is the main choice challenge I have. The price is really a factor for me. The A52 with 8gb ram & 128gb rom is about #165k while the A72 with 8gb ram, 128gb rom is #200k. The A72 with 8gb ram & 256gb rom is around #230-250k. It is worth dis price difference. Bare in mind that the A52 8gb, 128gb is not always in the market instead it's the 6gb/128gb U'll find. I think I'll go for the A52 & save me some extra bucks. |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by Djdannyb4u(m): 7:13am On Jun 09, 2021 |
Guys pls I have a or some questions. The A72 comes with a 25W charger in the box, A52 doesn't but the A52 supports fast charge with the 25W charger. I have been searching online to buy a 25W charger but can't find. So I want to know if I can buy a higher Watt charger & it will do the same work of fast charging the A52 or must I get the 25W charger? |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by ddjay: 8:15am On Jun 09, 2021 |
Djdannyb4u:Yes o, and because their spec differences are very thin, I prefer the a52 2 Likes |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by slawormiir: 8:16am On Jun 09, 2021 |
Djdannyb4u:It is the 25w charger that can actually do fast charging |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by ddjay: 8:16am On Jun 09, 2021 |
Djdannyb4u:I suggest you use the specified, battery is a very sensitive issue |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by slawormiir: 8:17am On Jun 09, 2021 |
ddjay:A52 got a battery of 4500mah While a72 got a battery of 5000mah |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by slawormiir: 8:21am On Jun 09, 2021 |
Djdannyb4u:Ogbeni even the a52 with 6gig ram is not in the market I have searched everywhere in Benin city Even samsung store in airport road in Benin city....they don't have it..... They only have the a32... A32 is not good...it comes with media tek processor |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by ddjay: 8:23am On Jun 09, 2021 |
slawormiir:I mean the differences are not worth my consideration of a72 over a52. The a72 is superior compared to a52 but I prepare the a52, the comparison Is like the s21 and s21 plus for example |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by ddjay: 8:28am On Jun 09, 2021 |
slawormiir:I think this 6gb variant may not be for the nigerian market, check the samsung ng website https://www.samsung.com/africa_en/smartphones/galaxy-a/galaxy-a52-awesome-black-128gb-sm-a525fzkdxfe/ the one meant for our market Is the 4gb variant, even though seller's can import the 6gb if they wish

Re: Samsung Official Thread by Raymondj0: 8:50am On Jun 09, 2021 |
ddjay:I'll actually advise to go for the 6gig for some reasons but as long as the phone is snapdragon... 4gig is also welcome if you're not that heavy user... But if you are heavy user.. Maybe you should oder for the 6gig from USA |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by slawormiir: 10:40am On Jun 09, 2021 |
Raymondj0:Bro. 4gig for this time Even the 6gig to me is very small I want to get the 8gig ram of a72.... |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by Raymondj0: 12:09pm On Jun 09, 2021 |
slawormiir:yeah.. That's the best option.. After using 12gig ram on my note 20 ultra... I don't think I can cope with 4gig phone again.. But sometimes it also depends on the budget |

I like the A32 it is a pretty good smartphone from Samsung and yes it has a Mediatek gaming processor which is very decent and gives a smooth and lag-free performance. Great cameras as well |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by ddjay: 12:34pm On Jun 09, 2021 |
Raymondj0:Ok |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by ddjay: 12:37pm On Jun 09, 2021 |
slawormiir:The problem is availability, if its easy to find in the market, then that's the best option |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by bennyefosa19: 1:04pm On Jun 09, 2021 |
The Samsung Galaxy A32 4G phone looks really good. I like the huge battery and the mediatek helio processor inside. |

To all experts on this thread, pls can you confirm if it's ok to flash T-mobile firmware android 11 on AT&T for note 10 plus? From Sammobile update for android 11 3.1UI is available for N975U. Odin files and other can be downloaded but AT&T is not available as one of the options on carrier selection. Verizon, TMB and other US carrier is available for the firmware. I got the info that any of this US carrier firmware can be flashed on AT&T that it makes no difference. Played can anyone confirm this... |

Re: Samsung Official Thread by Nobody: 9:00am On Jun 12, 2021 |
Guys, is the s9+ still a good buy in 2021? I'm planning to purchase it. |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by Raymondj0: 9:14am On Jun 12, 2021 |
Activist001:yeah very good.. But you know it also boils down to your budget.. Maybe you should let us know your budget.. So we can know maybe the s9+ is the best option for the price right now |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by Nobody: 11:08am On Jun 12, 2021 |
Raymondj0:Hey man thanks for replying. My budget is around 90k to 100k range. I really wanted to get the galaxy A52 but it looks like the phone is well above my range. |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by Raymondj0: 11:16am On Jun 12, 2021 |
Activist001:your opinion is the right one... S9+ go for it... And please make sure it's the snapdragon one... |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by Raymondj0: 11:18am On Jun 12, 2021 |
I don't just like those exynos versions.. Sluggish and power draining.. So please make sure it's the snapdragon one 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by Nobody: 11:45am On Jun 12, 2021 |
Raymondj0:Thanks mate. I'll definitely go for the Snapdragon version, I've heard so many not so good news about exynos. |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by credon: 1:46pm On Jun 12, 2021 |
Activist001:Old flagships are still very good, just try and get a new one if you can find it. The thing is design and android updates that separates it from some of today's phones, s9 plus is only getting security patch and will remain on android 10 one ui 2.5, if these 2 things don't bother you, then go and buy the s9 plus |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by Nobody: 4:13pm On Jun 12, 2021 |
credon:I would love to be on Android 11 but I don't really care to be honest. Android 10 is good enough for me plus the design of the s9+ still looks good in 2021 so I think I would go for it since it goes with my budget. |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by slawormiir: 4:15pm On Jun 12, 2021 |
Activist001:Okay... Get the Samsung a72 of 6gig ram |
Re: Samsung Official Thread by Nobody: 4:19pm On Jun 12, 2021 |
slawormiir:It's way out my budget. |
