Once upon a time....
We are talking facts and you are bringing in folktales.
Benin fell under a day to both British colonialists and Biafra. True or false?
Would you people like to retry against Ndigbo?
You people are like one town in Igboland. Not even up to a clan
Folk tales........now I see how dumb you are ....and falling to the British under a day

How can someone be dumb and an ignoramus at the same time

LOL. You outran and sold who to who?

You better watch your tongue. If you know who Ndigbo are, you should know that we adore competition and detest stupidity. I won't argue your slave-master relationship with Ika which is officially not considered as Igbo for now but when you say Igbo nation again, don't blame anyone for what might come your way.
Your entire Benin land fell under a day to Biafran forces. I don't think if such is repeated that there will be any difference.
Apart from the Fulani that owned the entire Hausa as slaves, I doubt there is any group in Nigeria that had more slaves than Ndigbo. A slave population so big that they are part of caste. Where do you think those slaves come from? If not from Minorities like you people, Igala and Ijaw.
The fact is nobody, I repeat NOBODY dared raid Igboland. The Fulani that are trying to attempt it in this generation have a good story to tell their well wishers like the Yellow Bar and you guys.

You people proposed beautiful courageous story as your history, Nobody questioned or cared to confirm. The only one that people saw was an opposite when bunch of menstruating teenage girls took out and defeated your Oyo campaign.
People still overlooked that but what we can't come to terms is that when what it needed to confirm your stories came up, which is the current Nigeria, you people turned to trying to use the same fake stories to scare the invaders away. Discrediting the authencity.
I won't doubt that you people are great story tellers but for bravery and truth? That is far from you people.

If you had said Ika, I won't argue or question because both of you have reserved right to discuss the nature of your relationship but Igbo, NO NO NO.
We have different relationship and none includes invasion by Bini.
You know we talk about fight every time that we forget that relationships is not necessarily exclusively hostilities. We forget that what Lagos is to Ndigbo currently was what Bini was to precolonial Northern Igbo land

Hahaha. You just read my mind. They kept saying our being more educated and developed was because lagos was a former state capital. Whereas before Lagos, capital was once in the south-south, calabar to be precise. The relics of Lugard and Flora Shaw are still there till today. From there to Lokoja and later Zungeru( northern colonial HQ) before Lagos. All these places never experienced development in spite if the federal presence. Amazingly, they all had waterways too, except Zumgeru. Finally, was moved to Abuja...yet all these regions aren't as economically viable as Yorubaland. Academically, we've got no match.

They always say ibos in lagos made it so develop as it is, as if there are no ibos in calabar, lokoja, Abuja, zungeru and other parts of Nigeria too. In kano alone, they're in millions, not to talk of kaduna.

We have the zeal and passion for progress even up to the national level. Most of the federal government ideas today were our initiatives. Yoruba anyday!

Development when lagos became capital is totally different from when calabar was capital... calabar was capital when the world wasn't exposed ...lagos was also developed by the Westerners, independence came thru in lagos ... when Nigeria was still good, the Development by the military especially Gowon helped lagos and then alot of investors came thru , it rubbed off on Ibadan.... if yorubas were that good as they claim, y is it only lagos?? Y is the other Western States dead ... the day biafra will come thru, thats the day lagos will start to die a slow death... the oil in the S/S part of the country is also a major reason y lagos is what it is...

That was why the Calvary was in ilorin, a relative savannah region.
When ilorin fell, it became difficult to defend the Oyo empire due to its location at the edge of the savannah and the loss of her calvary. Calvary attack was very effective.
Eventually, the people had to abandon old Oyo n migrate deeper into the rain forest where Calvary attack were less effective.
That was how ibadan came up.

There was never a time Ijaw dared step foot into Igboland. They are still scared of it till date.
People that started existing after Slave trade ended due to inclusion of returned slaves into their ranks.
They were hunted as sacrifice before the British came. It was when the British came that some Igbo clans settled and used their ports to negotiate with the White slave traders.
They no born the entire Ijaw well to step foot into Igboland
stop talking rubbish Ijaws captured igbos and sold them to whitemen through bonny our trade route...

when talking of bravery and powerful, the whole world know Ijaw is the no1 in africa....
so that compiled list is for tribe with the most powerless and cowardice...so it is why i dont contribute...

I hate all these ethnic/ tribal bashings here. But let's say the truth for once and shame the devil. The word Yoruba and Bravery can never be in the same sentence. Are you aware that the Fulani Herdsmen that killed people on Saturday at Igangan all ran away and are now camped at another village which is well known to the natives of Igangan and Yorubas as well. Two days after, they came back and attacked a Police station and killed three Policemen for aiding the hunters in killing four of their men. I felt very very bad when a friend from there called me to tell me that they are aware where these evil guys are camped. I equally read on newspaper of one Yoruba monarch also saying the same thing and even called the name of the place where the Fulanis are. My friend told me that they can't enter that forest and even the Amotekun guys and their local Opc members are afraid to do so. Now coming to the case of bravery, can Fulanis kill Jukun people and still went to take refuge in a Jukun village or forest, Can they try it with Ijaws and still hide in Ijaw bushes and Ijaw boys won't go there to deal with them, can it happen in Igboland without their Nnamdi Kanu ESN entering that bush. Till now, nobody is talking of entering that bush. Rather they are looking for Fulani soft targets to attack. I feel very bad that a whole tribe like Yoruba can't defend themselves at a time like this. They so much love life and don't want to die forgetting that the people they are dealing with are hardened terrorists that cannot be appeased.
