Re: North Cyprus: Part 2 by wip7: 5:51pm On Jun 04, 2021 |
richy16: EMU admission letter is written well if you carefully read it. Anyway, all fees in the admission letter already included/applied the 50% discount. So what you are paying is the discounted fees, ensure you are paying directly into EMU bank account to avoid stories. After your payment is confirmed by EMU, your details will be forwarded to Turkish embassy so you can apply for a visa and you will also receive payment confirmation letter which you will supply to the embassy as well. |

wip7:Thank you for your response, do I need a block account before I can be granted a visa? |
Re: North Cyprus: Part 2 by wip7: 6:15pm On Jun 04, 2021 |
richy16: Cyprus don’t need a block account that’s done for students traveling to study in Germany. You only need a bank statement that attest to your financial capabilities during visa documentation. |
Re: North Cyprus: Part 2 by richy16(m): 7:15pm On Jun 04, 2021 |
wip7: Thank you,why am considering Cyprus is because of Germany Street lately, please if I may ask how is life in North Cyprus?can I move to Germany after some months in Cyprus?is it advisable I do this? |
Re: North Cyprus: Part 2 by wip7: 7:22pm On Jun 04, 2021 |
richy16: Cyprus would prefer students that want to study and complete their studies in Cyprus not using Cyprus as a bridge. If you want to go/study in another country, you can apply directly to that country instead of going from one to another; doing this will make visa and admission difficult for genuine students from your country that want to complete their education in Cyprus. This has already affected and affecting Cameroonian applicants, now universities in Cyprus started blocking or making admission much difficult for Cameroonians. |

richy16:How is life in North Cyprus? Can I work and study? |
Re: North Cyprus: Part 2 by wip7: 7:32am On Jun 05, 2021 |
magastefan: Registration for FALL is too early, so kindly wait. And generally university refund only when visa is refused but as I said no need to panic since FALL is still very very far we are even yet to start exam for spring semester and summer is still not started yet. |
Re: North Cyprus: Part 2 by richy16(m): 9:44am On Jun 05, 2021 |
wip7: EMU said the fee $1753 is non refundable, is it okay I pay now or I should hold on till they lift the ban? |
Re: North Cyprus: Part 2 by wip7: 10:20am On Jun 05, 2021 |
richy16: Kindly ensure you are financially capable of paying your full fees including accommodation, tuition, maintenance and living expenses before traveling abroad either to Cyprus, USA, UK, Germany and Iraq or even South Africa. if you are going abroad for a master program; considering my experience and most international students in various countries; ensure you already have 80% of the entire fees if you are not given 100% scholarship. For undergrad ensure at least 2.5 years fees is fully ready and standby. Best wishes! richy16: Did you receive email about Ban from EMU? Please read the message from the earlier poster clearly; it says NEU! Also, if you’re have a specific questions relating to your admission or fees payment; I encourage you to email or call EMU; the university has professionals that handles international students queries. As I have mentioned in some of my earlier posts in some months ago, universities and immigration in Cyprus are currently working on modalities to ban or institute some conditions for applicants from certain countries. Only academically and financially ready students will be accommodated. If some of the proposals come approved; they may impose: —full tuition for entire study period —restrict number of applicants that will be allowed yearly from such country —many others |

wip7: Thank you for your support ,according to person post he stated that government place a ban,if I may ask,is it not the same government? I am asking all these to avoid me putting my money in this and later travelling will be an issue |
Re: North Cyprus: Part 2 by wip7: 2:19pm On Jun 05, 2021 |
richy16: Email or call EMU International office or registration office if you have a specific concern regarding payment of tuition fees that’s what a prospective international student should do. |

Morning wip7. I want to know if I can apply for a school in Emu myself. Few months ago,I sent close to 80k to a friend there in North Cyprus to get the admission. I got the admission the following day or 2 days after but could not gather enough for tution. So I want to know if I can apply for admission myself or I should still send him money to work on it. Thank you |
Re: North Cyprus: Part 2 by wip7: 11:52am On Jun 08, 2021 |
PaulJohn45: You don’t need to send him money to apply for you. Admission at EMU is free to apply. Send me your old admission letter let me see if I can get it renew for you without the need to re-apply. look for my email add in my signature and send to me. |

Good afternoon everyone please I want to know this.is it possible to travel to North cyprus July as a student? |
Re: North Cyprus: Part 2 by wip7: 2:30pm On Jun 09, 2021 |
Joyce4lovelead: If your semester starts in September no need traveling in July. Go few weeks to the start of your semester. Currently no restrictions for you to travel in July, however, there are growing concerns among university community and immigration of number of students coming too early and you may face some questioning. 1 Like |
