Ever find it hard to say NO to things, even when it makes you feel unhappy and impacts your physical, spiritual or mental wellbeing?

It is not uncommon that we experience pressures, from peers, family, friends or society, for us to conform to their wishes, even if it goes against what we believe in, or what we truly want to do in that situation. Mainly due to FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out)

But we say, dont feel guilty for saying no and setting healthy boundaries. Looking for tips on how to set healthy boundaries? To help you learn the art of setting healthy boundaries, here are a few things you should say no to.

11. Say "No" to "Toxic People"
You are perfectly right to say No to anybody who causes you any kind of distress or unhappiness. Toxicity breeds negativity. Like a virus, it will spread if you dont stand your ground and challenge the toxic people in your life.
"it's amazing how quickly things can turn around when you remove toxic people from your life"- Rob Tew.

10. Say No to people who make you feel unsafe
Do you ever feel scared or anxious around certain people, too scared to say anything to them or walk away from them? Needless to say, you don't want to be around people who make you scared for your own wellbeing. You may feel an obligation to say yes to these people because you're scared about what will happen if you don't. You have the right to feel safe and not live on edge, where you could fall off at any moment.

9. Say No to people who disregard your emotional wellbeing and feelings.
If you're feeling that your feelings don't matter, or arent valued by others, then you can say No to these people in your life. You deserve the freedom to express your emotions as a human beings. If others don't value that, then they don't value you. And they can forfeit the right to be a part of your life.

8. Say No to Situations that make you feel unwanted
Do you experience abandonment in your life? When you're unable to process this feelings, these experiences can become the deepest fundamental beliefs that you have about yourself on an unconscious level. So whenever you find yourself in a situation that truly makes you feel abandoned or unwanted, its time to make a conscious decision of removing yourself from it. After all, you're worthy and deserve so much better.

7. Say No to negative self talk
Its too easy to spiral out of control with all the could haves, would haves and should haves when we think about ourselves. They're usually self loathing types of self talks, when it gets out of control. Putting yourself down is not going to fix any problem. Its important to be reflective rather than critical. Think about the things you did well and the things you can work on, though this is easier said than done. Reframing your thoughts and trying to think more positively will shift the perspective you have on yourself.

6. Say No to comparing yourself with other people.
Be Yourself, Everybody else is taken- Oscar Wilde
Do you tend to obsess over what other people are doing? Dont waste time comparing things that are incomparable. Everyone of us is different and unique in our own ways, and that's okay. After all everyone has their own flaws, abilities and strengths, what are your own passions and goals.

5. Say No to bad partners.
Are you in an unhealthy relationship? If you're not happy in a relationship, there's no obligation to stay in it. Ask yourself if you have healthy communication with your potential partner before saying yes to them. Clarify their motives from the beginning and make sure the two of you vibe well together. There's nothing more unsettling than bad energy in a relationship.

4. Say No to resisting growth and healing.
How many times have you let opportunities slip away because you lacked belief in yourself? You are your own masterpiece, and you can own every aspect of who you are. Say YES to opportunities for personal growth and development. Take chances rather than saying No because you're too scared. Taking time to work on yourself and heal yourself is not a sign of weakness. Being brave and believing yourself is among the best thing you can do.

3. Say No to letting other people's opinion determine your worth.
Everything we hear about ourselves is an opinion, not a fact, everything we see is a perspective not the the truth- Marcus Aurelius
Are you so obsessed with other people's opinion about you that you forget your own? No matter what you do, what you say, how you dress or how you look, people will always form their personal opinion about you.

2. Say No to shrinking yourself to fit in
Are you holding on to what's comfortable even when its making you unhappy or not allowing you to grow? Staying too long in your comfort zone can convince you that anything outside of it is too foreign or too scary to accept. When you force yourself to fit into places that your roots have grown past you're missing out on opportunities to grow and to maximize your greatest potentials.

1. Say No to needless waiting. Time is precious.
Do you wait around for things that never come to light or materialize. You cant recover or recycle any of your wasted time. Two hours spent waiting and brewing frustration are two hours of your life you can never get back. Channel your time and energy into something productive whilst waiting. Time spent communicating with God through Praise, Worship and Prayer is always time well spent.

Learning to say No is a valuable skill and it can be hard to master, so we encourage you to keep practicing. Say No to the things that aren't serving you

Sperm is the most powerfully creative force in the universe. I believe Adam, Methuselah and other early men lasted longer because they maximized their sperm output
