raffyhills: When exactly in December did you apply and which day was your biometric done. I submitted my application on 20, Dec. 2020 and did biometrics the next day with my two children but I have not received any response from the embassy yet. |

tpain22: Lol, I've been in-active for a while and this is the first thing I am seeing after login in. Well, I wish you success in your UK endeavours and as a matter of fact, I am super frustrated with the whole Australia boarder issues. My friend and I, started this international study process together, he is already done with his final Msc exams in the UK and currently working on his project but i think it's important to note, that if I am to choose between Speed and Direction, I'll go for Direction. It's the impetus that sustain my speed. Not withstanding, if I was financially buoyant, I would have switched to Canada route and not the Uk because the whole thing with Australia boarder is frustrating and depressing. Best Wishes! 4 Likes |

Do you know if a fully-vaccinated traveller can enter Aussie now? wildchild1: |

Gokoyer0:If you're not a citizen or PR holder, you can only enter with travel exemption atm. |

Na wa o. Australians are too confident about their economy. I hope they will survive the aftermath effect of this long travel restriction. bligs: |

Ikjosh04:Hello, there. I thought schooling in Australia is far costlier than both Canada and UK, or am i wrong? |
Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by Ikjosh04: 11:33am On Jun 08, 2021 |
geloorrrrdd: You're not wrong! But there are some factors worth considering for each individual situation. |

Hi boss, I really appreciate your inputs here on this thread. We learners appreciate them all. Kindly answer my question. What are the region(s), school(s) and course(s) to apply for if I want to stay(to get PR) in Australia after my studies? AyaE: |

Dear All, Thank you all for the good job. I just got a PhD offer with scholarship in UNSW and would appreciate if someone can guide on how to package my visa application better. I just got my US visa for PhD also but I prefer Auss. Also I have got some travel history, all for study purpose. Equally, I have a PhD offer with Scholarship in Canada but would reject it if the visa for Auss is sure. I would appreciate your kind guidance. 4 Likes |

Impressed, with the suite of offers/scholarships across multiple institutions/countries. More impressed that you know what you want and ready to focus on it. The fact that you are attending UNSW with full scholarship has almost already guaranteed your visa if you prepare the forms well. There is a lot of guides on previous pages and online. We can provide response on specific questions you may have of course. Start by trying to fill the form and take it up from there.......again, I will be quite surprised that you will not get your Visa shams040: |

shams040:Congrats, there shouldn't be an issue with your visa application as DHA highly regard PhD/research students. The issue should be aftermath of PhD, what next? It maybe challenging for you if you're unable to secure a job as a research fellow, lecturer or something that has to do with your PhD directly as no one will like to employ you with PhD due to wages because less qualify people can do same thing. Base on my own opinion, there's more opportunities for research students in USA than Australia but you may get a PR or citizenship quicker in Australia and make more money but consider jobs opportunities after your program. 1 Like |

My wife applied for visa in December 2020. Close to February 2021 when her studies was billed to start, she deferred her admission till July 2021. Up till now there has been no response from the relevant authorities. What could possibly be the problem? |

Hello house. Please I will like your sincere advice on this. I have a bachelor's degree in computer science and I will like to study master in cyber security in Macquarie University. My agent pfl is confirming that I won't need a bank statement for the visa process and the visa is guaranteed because Macquarie is AL1 University but I will need to pay tuition deposit and health insurance of almost 6 million. I will like to confirm if I won't be needing bank statement. Thank you. |
