Sorry I don't care if it's biblical, Qur'anical, Torahnical or has whatever religious book backing. Marriage should be personal choice, nobody should force someone into a thing (s)he isn't comfortable with thereby creating a problem to the individual and society at large.

Never really thought hard about this.
I guess I'd just focus on my career,adopt a child from motherless babies home or something,alternatively,I could sponsor a childs education.
Move far away from my parents to avoid the 'when will you marry talk'
In anything I do sha,I'm not going to get pregnant for a guy who wouldn't marry me

There is nobody without someone who wants them. Even if you are disabled, if you join a group of your fellow disabled people, you will see the one that likes you. Let alone a complete human.

People saying it applies to ladies are just being s****. When a lady says she hasn’t seen husband, it is not that she has never been approached by a man for relationship/marriage. It is because she hasn’t been approached by the one she desires. If she goes to site where boys are carrying block, she will definitely see one.

So if at all you find yourself in this situation, what some ladies do (and have been doing) is to marry the available. Whether that works for them is not my business.

No time for marriage. My own na to look for a matured lady in her late thirties,given belle and take care of her and my baby. Marriage wahala too much. Marriage na suffering and smiling. ...any available lady should hit me up. Money no be problem.

So many guys I know that have faced rejection until they are now grey. And you know Young girls are going for their age mates these days. They don't fancy middle aged guys anylonger for marriage.

Guys too are equally greatly affected
I disagree with all your points. What do you mean Grey, do you know about ned nwoko? Again, like the guy said, the question should be directed more to the women. A guy faced rejection, but at least he made a move, but ladies making the move is unafrican, and many would rather die in silence than woo a man they like. No matter how many rejections a man gets, he would always meet a lady ready also for marriage someday but same isn't for women, the guys wooing you might just be the chop and clean mouth gang. And for ladies going for their age mates, then it's obvious you're not attending wedding on weekends, because ladies getting married mostly don't go for their age mates because even their age mate isn't ready for marriage yet.
