handsomebolanle: I don’t know about this guy you are talking about but some of those ministers that negotiated their salaries in USD have good reasons. Adeshina, Ngozi, Aganga, the NSE Oga, the Sovereign Wealth Fund Oga and many more were recruited from abroad where they were earning USD, paying mortgage, school fees and other expenses in USD. It makes sense for them to be paid in USD na. 12 Likes |

Lazyyouth4u: I still blame the leaders, everyone that leaves the shores of this country considers Nigeria a shithole, once u have left stay where u are and leave the shithole for those left in it, stop chancing those left in it..... |

Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nobody: 7:29am On Jun 10, 2021 |
maishai: But they were called by the leaders of the shithole to come and help na. And the leaders of the shit hole understand that mortgages, school fees and other expenses of these ‘abroad experts’ have to be paid in USD while they are serving the shit hole. You can’t blame the leaders for this kind thing na. You yourself would have taken the job and negotiated your bumper salary in USD 7 Likes |

Biafran4life:The average human on earth is greedy. The system in developed countries forces you to do the right thing. While the system in Nigeria creates the atmosphere for corruption. |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nobody: 11:44am On Jun 10, 2021 |
OgogoroFreak: Haba how greed and corruption take enter this matter o? Put yourselves in the shoes of Ngozi and co. You dey your lane for Yankee dey make top dollars with correct job. You have long term mortgage, car notes, loans, school fees, taxes, and other running costs for Yankee wey you dey pay with your USD salary. Presidency call and beg you say make you come back home come work for am. Will you not negotiate USD salary to take care of your expenses from where you dey live your life before? This is not a new thing na. Happens all the time when ‘expats’ are recruited into government positions. 17 Likes |

Lazyyouth4u: You they even go far. If you're a developer and you're working in another African country, you will be paid in USD because you can't be in Ghana and be earning naira, Cedis may also not favour you if you don't plan to stay long term in Ghana. Make we no they patriotify everything abeg. 2 Likes |

Lazyyouth4u:Who said she's greedy? Infact, what she did is exactly what a reasonable person should do in a declining country like Nigeria. The problem is the Nigerian government. Accepting to pay anyone in a foreign currency simply means they don't believe in our country at all. You can't go to US and tell the government to pay you in another currency. 2 Likes |
