I'm getting some funky vibes from this thread that's why I am opting to refrain from commenting on the matter.

What father figure are you talking about, when the biological father is still alive and willing to be part of his daughter’s life? So it’s good give to another man a child that belongs to another man before his very presence for whatever reason?

If the poster would come up with a good reason or tell what happened and stopped beating about the bush...there may be a possibility that someone here can help him,all this comment about not being A REAL MAN today women wants is just labelling all women based on your issue with your child's mother,or how do come to a point of knowing what all women want?You talked about forgiveness.... maybe you went about it the wrong, accept you need help,then solution will come.If your child perceives you a stranger(very painful experience),whose fault was that?

Meanwhile.... lemme mind my business shaa...(but sometimes you meet genuine and good headed people in nairaland)

Hmmm... It's obviously because you have not been part of her life growing up. Just try and warm your way into her life and maybe then she'll learn to use the word "Daddy".

Thank you , I tried my best but my best could not be enough ..We had her through CS ,while the Mum is Asthmatics .I paid and responsible for everything until they said it wasn't enough ..I shall rise again .
