There's nothing one can do, even in the face of all, u can't give a rider more than the option price and at no point will any rider start with 8k bid.

Bros...if u have an alternative in Uber or Bolt, activate it...Indriver is no longer freedom and peace of mind. With your experience now, u will not fall short in Uber/Bolt. Or u maintain, within mainland or within Island, don't attempt to cross over except between the hours of 11pm and 5am.

In cases like this I wish it's Uber, Uber will give u more money than the trip sef with apology and abeg no vex.

Sorry about the ordeal. Same scenario happened to me last year, I shared it here. It was a young lady in this case. Broad day light sef, it was a rude awakening. Never knew girls too popped pills.

Not supporting the guy though, but some riders na suegbe grin..he was with that kind of stuff n was still moving at odd hours, I tot they said drugs make u sharper...

I have taken girls on three separate ocassions to buy drugs and have also been in a similar situation as BAZ001 when I took some guys to a hotel. I was to wait for them and take them back.

Turns out they were cultists and fight broke out between them and the guys they went to meet. The manager of the hotel locked the gate and invited policemen. They whisked all of us to the station but I was released after confirming I was a bolt driver. This is one of the disadvantages with offline. Imagine that was an offline trip, how I wan take defend myself. Once a rider offers me offline, I decline immediately.

And like I said before, guys should be careful with young guys that sit at the back. Some will even want to sit directly behind you. They are almost always with something they want to hide in your vehicle.

This offline of a thing ehhh...my offlines are mostly with elderly men and women who don't have the app or want to stress their children to book. Or people going out of town or extreme ends of Lagos that drivers don't like going... Within town offline get as e dey b with young people, why not request? is what I always ask them.
A man, guy, young guy, or boy must never seat behind me at night especially if he is d only one on the trip. Beyond hiding things in the car, it is suspicious.

Bolt app is more stable now, if u like put the next street and we drive 50km u will be charged for 50km... Only thing is if we drive off route and end in thesame destination, if rider requests for fare review they will likely get it, if they didn't change their destination to d different stops. And Bolt will message u. So if u have huge change of direction always ensure the Rider changes the destination...note not u, but the Rider.
but i still took someone to buy food from a restaurant which I know it will be 500N, waited to take him back and change destination back to the house, end trip and saw 500N I was mad

That is where the guy messed up, if he was in front with me police wouldn’t have stopped us.
Had already put on my inner light and passed before they spotted him at the back and screamed park park, if the guy had said don’t stop I will just move on. Guy man go seat for back dey form fine boy.
I don wise up now I will be on d look out during and after any trip.

Thank you sir.

Felicity001:

Yes it would have been the same, to me what I understand about fare algorithm is... Its base on what the GPS input or provides.

Distance covered during the trip and time of completion so irrespective of weather or not trip was update it will still calculate base on the meter(GPS) reading.

I've experience this as well as a rider to, the place my destination was quite different from what was provided on the request of the ride and thwn driver was so slow during the trip so that also added to the time and at the end the trip the fare was far higher than the estimate and when I request a price review I was then reminded of my actual destination.

This is the reason the talk about having a good phone can never be over emphasize for proper fare output

No mind them, even Uber is queuing behind bolt as it is in terms of more riders, bonus and the commission they charge. Uber still on 25%

The height of it for me is the destination that shows. I don’t call rider to ask where are you going again.

Pedpa and indigenous app will be crawling behind inDriver

I swear , riders are always humble from 10 to 12am. If not for the country's security, night driver would have being the best.

Was at Berger on Sunday after chopping weekend bonus trying to drop my last rider around 11:20. Immediately I drop her a request came in and the rider called immediately and started begging o. No b small beg, I don laugh tire so all this rider can beg like dis. I later carried her and trip ended it was a Bolt payment but she ended up tipping me again grin

I need to drop this gist here.

I was picking up a vehicle at Brilla FM at Lekki with overheating issue. On getting to Civic centre opposite 1004 the car was already heating up. So I parked to let it cool down, so in the process I got a keg of water out to fill the radiator and next thing tow truck came and start attaching dem stuff to the car saying illegal parking.

Without stress I allowed them satisfy themselves and they drove me to their site at Muri Okunola VIO office. Immediately we got there the baba on duty just drop a ticket of 50k on my car.

Na there I change am for them. Para for them seriously that all the men in the compound come they tell me say i no go comot. The man they refer to as the commander started bragging of having 2 sons as captain in the army, na dere my head burst say this man dey whine me.

I just went to his front and asked him to call them come or if them no dey make him call GOC come. Omo this man pick fone dey make calls and ask someone to send boys to him that someone was insulting him here.

After that i just pick my phone call my guy that is working with Sanwo Olu, he's one of the army guy as escort to Sanwo Olu.... luckily he was around 4 point to deliver something to alake.

Na so my guy blow pilot and siren come VIO office show dem ID card omo respect start to they fly next thing the guy asked them if they like to transfer my car to Alausa or he should call the PA to governor.

Immediately the case die. Next thing dem turn my padi start to dey give me number say anywhere for lagos dem stop me make I call them.

In all one thing I know be say Mad people dey lag, just make sure say your madness is educated

It's possible the whole distance and time if it was a straight journey will still be N500. U know base fare will not multiply by two if u do to and fro. Just check the distance and time and do the calculations.

My Cab guys are all about increased fares and better earnings for drivers...the question I ask them, who will pay more for ur services when there are cheaper options?

If you want drivers to enjoy make it zero commission or 5% max and keep price same and watch all drivers port to ur App.
Competing with Bolt and Uber is not about drivers alone, serious marketing and bonus has to b done to get riders attention too.

But alas, they aren't different from Bolt and Uber whom they accuse of enslaving drivers. Everybody is hustling for profit

Good afternoon oo, please people, I changed my oil last week, corolla 05, this week the oil has short, I had to top it with the remaining oil, I took it to the mechanic, he examined it and said nothing is wrong. He finally said it could be the engine, probably because it's old and I'll have to continue topping it with oil to manage the issue. Please how true is this? And what could be the cause of oil shortage in the the engine?

Assuming he observe it to check for leakage and he didn't find any, it means ur car is smoking...rings, valve seals are the culprit.
