GEJ actually won over 25% votes in the NW and NE which is what the electoral act specifies. Buhari won overwhelmingly in the NW and NE in 2011 but didn't get the 25% minimum in most states in the South. That's why he didn't win then.
Please go and read the comment of the guy I quoted again.

But make I just give you what he said in brief.

He said, anyone that sideline the NE and NW geopolitical region should kiss his reelection goodbye. GEJ won in 2011 without winning the two geopolitical region. Just two geopolitical regions can't decide who the president of Nigeria will be.

Honestly if not for internet fraud becoming popular amongst the youths, even the president would relocate from aso rock because of the rate of violent crime.
How can Nigeria ever get better at this rate?

Nigeria has been "getting better" for awhile now. No development/ industrialization of a nation has ever been smooth. Individuals & groups of people will inedibly slip through the cracks that's just the reality of the world always has been not everyone is going to make it.

Nigeria has been gradually building it's wealth, industry, and infrastructure for awhile now after the stagnation of the 20th century to late 2000s. Mega projects are being built like Eko(African Dubai), Centenary City, Imperial international Business City, Ayimba Economic City, Orange Island, and Greater Port Harcourt City. Other projects such as homes, buildings, hospitals, roads, dams, powerplants, and rails are being  completed every year.

Nigeria will be in the top 10 largest economies come 2050-60. Nigeria has one of the fastest growing middle classes in the developing world. NIGERIA is home to the richest and most influential Black Man Aliko Dagote, and many of the most Independent, Wealthy, Progressive, Industrious, and cultured Black People in the world. Nigeria's Rich are 99% Aboriginal unlike many other African countries who's wealthy are primarily Euro Colonist and Asian immigrants. All Nigerian businesses are native owned and expansive all over Africa only 2nd to those of South Africa.

Tiny Israel is over 200 billion dollars in debt, USA is over 14 trillion in debt. even Saudi Arabia.
We gotta give out long term loans at low interest rates to our companies, so they can expand and hire more people, upgrade how we do things, establish trade schools across the country so our youths can get modern skills acquisitions, rather than hiring construction workers from china.
These things aren't rocket science. its sad how we lag so far behind

I dey always wander something. The likes of Oceanic and bank PHB etc wey crash because of bad debts etc Why can't the FG give the banks the billions of naira dey need by printing The money printed will be giving to the bank to pay salaries, loan out to farmers, entrepreneurs etc

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi changed that, that is why Polaris Bank is still existing today. Same with First bank.
They get the confidence of the poor to keep money with them then loan out the money to the rich and influential at very ridiculous interest rates with compromised or no collateral and when the rich refuses to pay, the banks collapses. That's also what brought about AMCON.
Oba Otudeko, owner of Honeywell borrowed a large sum from first bank at a ridiculous interest rate with same collateral he used to borrow loans from GTB, when central bank noticed, they had to sack all board members of first bank and bring in new people. CBN had to pay billions to ensure that skyebank customers didn't lose their money because of mismanagement.
There are several other influential people owing the poor like oba Otudeko, people like Jimoh Ibrahim and others Sha. AMCON has cases against most of these people in court but the corrupt judiciary is frustrating the efforts to recover the assets used as collateral and money obtained as loans.

Honestly, the country has lots of problems and but we all have roles to play in solving the problems. Also you enjoy lots of things as a Nigerian that you will probably not enjoy elsewhere Sha.
The amount government spends to ensure each kid is vaccinated alone is enormous. All the polio, HBV, BCG and several other vaccines are very costly yet we get it here for free. That's just one of the numerous free things we enjoy in the health sector alone.

You don't understand me. We will print the Naira to safe banks like Oceanic bank that collapse. Example, if Oceanic bank need #10b to survive, the government can just print #10b and hand it over to Oceanic bank after sacking the management and prosecuting them.

I believe a man like Oba otudeko should be prosecuted and he should serve a long jail term with the nonsense he was doing in First Bank before the CBN came in few weeks ago.

Naira will keep falling against dollar until we resolve the export deficit. We import virtually everything but export very little. How are we going to earn dollars? Especially at a time when value of crude oil has significantly fallen.
We may see some stability when dangote's refinery starts working and we don't have to import finished oil products.

Inflation will result when too much money is available for too few goods and services. So the central bank has to balance the amount of money in circulation with the value of goods and services in the market.

That's what they are doing now, it took a lot of effort to get bank management under the Central Bank. Sanusi's life was really threatened around that time but he had strong support from Jonathan.

"We were invited to cover a panel of discussion at the ongoing African Council of Women Conference with the theme: Factors and driver of Gender-Based Violence in Nigeria, organised by the DRPC, under the Ford Foundation.

"I drove to the venue, M & M Events Centre, Abuja, close to NICON Luxury in Central Business District. After introducing myself, the Mopol stopped me at the gate and said I should get entrance tag. I told him I can only get the tag from the people who invited me. Still, he refused. I had to call Patience Ihejirika of Leadership Newspapers who came, gave me my tag.

"Yet, the police officer was complaining that we journalists are the problem of Nigeria. I turned and asked him why do security agencies hate journalists? He started abusing me and said if not he was on uniform, he would have taught me a big lesson. Seeing him, you could tell he's frustrated.

"He said I wasn't going in. It was during this time that the DSS operatives pounded me, tore my shirts. One of them tried severally to clear me, but I was jumping. They were joined by police officers. They said I should sit down, I stood up. I was handcuffed! They seized the phone belonging to Patience Ihejirika, deleted the videos and photos of the incident, while one of the police officers threatened to beat her up.

"I called a senior officer in DSS who happened to be my friend right from school. Even when he tried to speak with them, they refused. 'Tell him we're not talking with him. Olokor, I'm from Delta, when we get home, we discuss man to man', one of them said. One wonders whether there's no discipline in the DSS.

"An Assistant Director called to plead with a promise that they would been summoned to write a report of what happened. I've reported the matter to my bosses."

There is no way we were not importing fuel and didn't have fuel scarcity issues.
There is no way we were not exporting crude oil and government didn't have problems with paying workers and pumping money into the economy. Trading activities was reduced but it was never totally off.

Am not asking for a degree, just an advancement in education criteria.
The secondary school graduate we have in some states equal illetrracy... State Education are so poor in some state that u wonder if a person who claims to be a graduate even evr attended one...
I think one fundamental problem is illiteracy, when u have lots of officers in police force who can't read and write, how do we then expect them to grapple with teachings of basic fundamental human right and enforcement..
Advancing to diplomas, and equivalent will increase the standard of education, literacy and even basic thinking and understanding within the police force...
Then one thing I want to draw ur attention too is environment...
You cant compare a city goat to village goat... This another way of saying... An iaverage lliterate in the western religion is in a better position than one here in the North.. when u take the western region sophistication into account.. Even pidgin most illrtrate here can't speak...

I hear you bruv. But what I'm saying is that its much more effective (and cheaper) to just have better screening exams. Let me use an example. Crossing from polytechnic through D.E, we did this psychometric exams. Thing was the school trusted no ones grades from poly. Tell you what? Upper credit guys were wailing after the 25 mins exam.

An excellent psychometric exam will weed out pretenders regardless of certificates

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has defended his decision to construct railways and roads extending into Niger Republic.

Buhari said this during an interview on Arise Television which aired on Thursday.

The President said borders were arbitrarily drawn by the French colonialists without taking into cognisance the cultural similarities of the people of Niger and Nigeria even as he revealed that he has first cousins in Niger Republic.
