Zogg, Okoronkwo, Toni Payne, and Ariyo have just made a strong case to displace the SF regular starters, especially if they also impress on Sunday against Portugal 2 Likes |

All those home based players were very annoying. They have no business with this team... What's up with Ariyo na? I was expecting her to turn out good... I did not watch when she played... Why was she hauled off?... Was her performance bad? When I first watched Payne play for the falcons, I commented that she would displace whoever had been playing that position of hers, and some people almost insulted me. I guess they do not see the need for the team's improvement. Payne played the best for me. Those new girls really impressed me, especially Okoronkwo, Alozie ( where were these two gotten from?), Onumonu is good too. I wonder why she did not start, Zogg is a quality player too, I liked Ajibade's energy, but her decision making wasn't the best. What happened to Chikwelu? - i never watched while she was playing... I guess age has caught up on her, Oredga, on her part, was unusually quiet -i can't really judge... I can only conclude that the coach did not really start the best players. He should forget those home players, especially in the next match o! It seems that after the tournament, some players will lose their positions. 1 Like |

Schemerkhiz: Alozie is not a full member of the Houston Dash. She only trains with them as of now. Although her showing might have made them sit up. |

I was surprised people criticize her here , I can only blame the coach for getting his selection wrong BascoVanVeli: |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Schemerkhiz: 1:11pm On Jun 12, 2021 |
isan: I believe lack of training contributed to the poor Selection, they only trained twice in one day and some of the players participated only once.. |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by BascoVanVeli(m): 1:55pm On Jun 12, 2021 |
isan: IMO she did good. Very confident on the ball and found good passes. I don't think he got it wrong. All of them were new to each other so it would have never been easy. Alozie and Okoronkwo should definitely start the next match 2 Likes |

isan: Ogbonna always fumbles at the Big Stage.... Patricia George would have held the Left Back position if not for injury that have ruled her out... Such an intelligent, quick and Strong player... We should note that the Foreign born player's especially those from the US will always have an edge over the Home based player's because they're always taught the basis right from the high School to the University level, play various positions.. and becoming a Pro Footballer gets easy for them with those knowledge's.. Look at Mitchelle Alozie for Example is a Winger/Forward but did well from the Right back Position, Okeke wasn't even as effective as she had with the little minutes she spent on the Pitch... 2 Likes 1 Share |

Among all the Home based players that were given chance against Jamaica... ONLY Vivian Ikechukwu impressed me. The rest need to step up big time or get shut out of the team for now.... All the Foreign born player were busy trying to secure a spot for them self but the Home based were far from it.. 3 Likes
