I haven't been long in Poland but from my observation

1. Anyone can adapt if you're willing to study hard. The courses here are totally different from what you were taught in Nigeria. Talking from experience, I started my MSc in March from Nigeria and it wasn't easy, at some point I almost quit cos the lecturers don't teach, they assume you know it.

2. The lecturers are also flexible. They always schedule seperate meetings for students who maybe have difficulty in their courses.

3. I really can't say.

4. In my city, a foreign student can survive. The cost of living is relatively ok. Plus, as a student you can get a job, part time or full time.

5. It is worth it.

I know some people look down on the country because they feel their economy is not as great as Germany's but it is a great country and if you really want to make a good life for yourself here, you can.

Those who are into IT also make it big time here. There are so many IT related jobs here. If you can also speak English and certain foreign languages, you can easily get maybe a customer rep job.

I've never had issues with racism but I've gotten a lot of stares when I walk on the street, they don't see a lot of black folks esp in town. The people are very reserved, I guess it's the language barrier and their nature.

That being said, everything I've said here is from my experience from my short stay here. Between, my city is Gliwice.

Are you in a public or private university Is it true they don’t really offer jobs to international students from private universities ?

I'm in a public university. I'm not sure. Those that I've seen here that are employed didn't make my mention of that.

Bro,

How easy it is to evaluate for someone else?
I went to the Federal secretariat today to do the evaluation for a friend but I was told I can't because we share different surname.

I can do that (evaluation) for you. Inbox me.

When the visa is granted to you, you can withdraw the fund. You deposited it there because of the embassy/visa granting purpose. So the answer is yes.

Oga. Be calming down. Nec is not an agent. He’s in Poland. How you’d label people is surprising. Assuming I didn’t know Nec, I’d have just believed you. Calm down and learn from experienced people

Yeah he’s had them evaluated before at MOE for NYSC, we are just wondering what the process would be for legalization for Poland

A Transcript is considered a document notwithstanding the number of pages so it's still €30

Okay. Since you have already done the Evaluation prior his NYSC, you will need to Authenticate at MoFA to enable you to Legalize at the embassy.

Hope this is clear

Follow the instructions on the Polish embassy website and do as it instructs. Regarding the funding, remember to also add the cost of the accommodation that you have secured by multiplying the monthly cost by 12. Below is what it says in terms of funding;

7. Documents confirming the possession of financial resources to cover the costs of return travel and costs of stay in Poland (to be selected from the list - there is no obligation to present all of them). The minimum required amount of financial resources is as follows: 1) PLN 2 500 for the return trip, 2) the cost of accommodation shown on the basis of hotel or rental agreement, 3) PLN 701 for each month of stay (PLN 701 x 12 months = 8 412 PLN):

a) Traveler's check;

b) Original certificate of a credit card limit issued by the bank that issued the credit card;

c) Original certificate of cash in a bank having its registered office in the territory of the Republic of Poland;

d) Document confirming the granting of a national or foreign scholarship;

e) Original certificate of employment and amount of earnings;

f) Original letter of sponsorship confirmed by a notary public - if the applicant does not finance his/her stay in Poland. The sponsor confirms the possession of funds to cover the costs of return travel and the costs of the applicant's stay in Poland on the basis of the documents listed in point a, b, c or e.

Your school is in the best position to tell you what documents they want you to legalize as different schools have different requirements. But usually your WAEC Certificate

Use a bank please. Bank rate is still very friendly and cheap.

Try Sterling Bank, Union Bank or Fidelity Bank and request that you want to use FORM A. Also make sure you take along your Admission Letter, The School Account Details and your International Passport

Euro black market is expensive. You will have to pay that your friend more for him to be able to pay your Tuition fee.

The School fees is 5000 zloty per year .. but i'm are paying 3000zloty as past of first semester..
