Sadly, a lot of people on this thread and beyond it are deeply emotionally invested in this - the back-and-forths. And if you are discerning enough, you can tell the emotional comments. The recounted tales which they tell to justify their hate.

I know web developers who have been turned down for remote work by one or two Democrats because they tweeted something in support of Trump or the Right - it's standard practise to submit your CV, which includes linls to your social media accounts and portfolio. I know folks who attack John Legend and trash his music because he's pro-Left.

I know folks on Twitter who have done nothing but shame, refuse to stream music videos of and bully Lil Wayne ever since he spoke in support of Trump, and, worse even, eventually got a Presidential Pardon from him. The people who attack Lil Wayne's legacy the most these days are blacks who would rather have seen him rot in jail or be tagged a felon all his life than get a fresh start just because it came from Trump.

There are blacks who attack Trump and refuse to praise him when he helped get A$AP Rocky and the other black woman out of jail. They refused talking about it and slam him as a pest or doing it for photo op.

All of those and worse are seen on this thread. And, with the level of hatred I see peddled here, I have little doubt that if there was a chance to blackmail some persons for a crime they didn't commit, some persons here would do it.

It's why I cautioned Obixël last week not to try to release more personal details about himself. I have no doubt that one of the persons here would try to get him sacked. That's the level of hatred here. It's seeped into every argument and exchange.
I understand and appreciate your point. But you really cannot blame the individuals, the blame squarely lies in the political climate that has been created and nurtured over the years. And I suspect it will get worse, much worse.

Let me elaborate.
Before now politics was a clash of ideas and ideology. Politicians sell their ideologies and get followership based mainly on ideologies - not emotions, not racism, not class, not hate. But politicians have discovered that people respond better to emotions than ideology, and so started concentrating on whipping up emotional sentiments. And what are the most powerful emotional sentiments? - hatred, fear and nationalism. This necessitated creating or identifying an enemy to fear and hate. Democrats became enemies of Republicans and not just political opponents. Muslims became enemies of Christians, Christians became enemies of Atheists, agnostics, gays, liberals, etc. So much hate has pervade the world.

Trump used this strategy very effectively. To win elections he demonized his opponents and works his supporters to a frenzy. He did it to his opponents during the Republican primaries, he demonized Hillary Clinton so much that even democrats began to hate her. He demonized immigrants, Mexicans, blacks, minorities, LGBTs, etc. He worked his supporters so much that they are prepared to murder Trump's opponents, as witnessed on January 6. Trump's cults supporters here like basilico, benalvino2, obixcel are ready to hate people who don't support him and maybe harm them if they get the opportunity.

In Nigeria the relation between PDP and APC is one of hatred. Between Igbo and Yoruba and Fulani is one of hatred. Between Muslims and Christians is one of hatred. This hatred that was hitherto negligible has been amplified by politicians for political capital. Kanu employed this hatred in the beginning to energize young angry igbo youths, and it was very effective. He promoted hatred of Yorubas, Fulanis, Muslims, northerners and even fellow igbos. It's only recently he has mellowed down.

If QAnon is a right-wing conspiracy theory, the Democrats' allegations that Republicans are killing democracy is the left's conspiracy. They have convinced themselves that the Jan. 6, 2021, incursion into the Capitol was the worst event since the Civil War.

We've recently gone through a week that included discussions about the Tulsa Race Massacre, which was arguably a far worse post-Civil War attack on our democracy. Likewise, more people died on United Airlines Flight 93 to keep terrorists from flying a plane into the Capitol. Two planes brought down the World Trade Center that same day, and another slammed into the Pentagon.

In 1954, Puerto Rican nationalists opened fire inside the United States House of Representatives. There were also various bombings by the domestic terrorist group Weather Underground, and the assassination of John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert. Those are all arguably worse than what happened on Jan. 6.

But it has become dogma of the left and many members of the press that the Jan. 6 incursion is the worst. I do think it was bad and in the top 10, but I would put it lower than the Tulsa Race Massacre, the terrorist attacks on 9/11, the gunfire in the House of Representatives, the Kennedy assassination and the Weather Underground bombings. Congress very literally got back to work the afternoon of Jan. 6.

Coupled with the outrage over Jan. 6 is outrage over Sen. Joe Manchin preserving the filibuster. Democrats have turned on the one man keeping them in charge of the Senate. Now Machin has done something else. He has penned a new op-ed in which he declares his opposition to H.R.1/S.1: the massive progressive voting reform package. Various Democrats, members of the press, Hollywood stars and progressive activists across the country have all declared our democracy would die if the legislation is not passed.

Unfortunately for the Democrats, Manchin makes one really good point that spectacularly discredits the Democrats' talking points. He asked: "Are the very Republican senators who voted to impeach Trump because of actions that led to an attack on our democracy unwilling to support actions to strengthen our democracy? Are these same senators, whom many in my party applauded for their courage, now threats to the very democracy we seek to protect?"

Manchin just killed the Democrats' voting reform package. Unfortunately for Democrats who have believed the GOP is dying, their party appears to have some serious problems beyond an inability to get anything done in Washington.

White people don't see themselves as an identity group. Critical theorists on the left say that is a form of privilege. But therein lies a problem for Democrats: The more white people vote as an identity group, the less they will vote for the party that tells them they are oppressors who must pay reparations.

Do you really think the rich, suburban, secular soccer mom is going to go along with punishing her family and, in particular, her kids because of the color of her skin or because someone she's related to did something 200 years ago? Really?

Likewise, Hispanic voters and Asian voters do not see themselves as a racial group. To an extent, Hispanic voters do; they trend toward viewing themselves as white. Add them to the voter pool of white people, and Democrats lose even more.

Asian voters are from a plethora of countries. Korean voters tend to be Christian. Indian subcontinent voters are trending Republican because of people like Bobby Jindal and Nikki Haley. Japanese and Chinese descendants lean Democrat. Hispanic or Latino voters are Cuban, Puerto Rican, Mexican, Columbian, Argentinian, etc. In Florida, they've all tended to vote with the GOP while Democrats double down on identity politics, and Republicans treat them as voters who want jobs and safety.

For years, Democrats and a great many political pundits in the press have told us demography is destiny and we're going to wind up with a Republican Party marginalized like it is in California. The real world data suggests Texas and Florida are more likely the trajectory of the country's politics than California, and that trend hurts Democrats. Democrats' constant hysteria on democracy and identity are undermining their ability to maintain a majority coalition.

EMPEROR OF DOLUSIA
The Emperor of Dolusia was in a meeting with his Head of Strategy, a man aptly called Ahitophel (Ahito to his friends), to review the recent elections that brought him to power, and to engineer his grip on power going forward.
Emperor of Dolusia : Ahito, those opposition voters, I think they are white nationalists.
Ahitophel : Your Majesty, I waited for you to figure that out yourself. That's what they are, every solitary one of them. And you must apply the last solution.
Emperor of Dolusia : (Visibly angry and screaming) Ahitophel, what do you mean apply the last solution? Are you advising me to kill all Dolusian opposition voters?
Ahitophel : Exactly, Your Majesty, but not homicidally. I'm advising you to kill them politically.
Emperor of Dolusia : (Looking relieved but still a bit confused) Ahito, cut out the riddles and give it to me straight. What do mean kill them politically, and how is that done?
Ahitophel : Your Majesty, if you got your enemy on the ground, and allow him to get up, he may even seem to have run away, but he's still liable to come back at you later, and do that even more strongly than before.
Emperor of Dolusia : So?
Ahitophel : Open-Border mass immigration is political/electoral genocide to the Right Party.
Erase the Border, let in the tsunami of migrants and drown the white nationalists in a sea of third world diversity. They will still cast the same votes in the future, but those will amount to like only 20% of total votes. Then you would have reduced the Right Party, by that action, to the Permanent Minority Party of Dolusia (PMPD). Your Majesty the last solution is so easy and simple you can do it sleeping (it is well known how the Emperor loves sleep).
Emperor of Dolusia : Libtard-Leftard-Son-of-Thunder...., Ahitophel, sometimes I envy you your wisdom. Why didn't I think of this myself?
Ahitophel : Your Majesty, why am I here? It's mine to do the strategies and Your Majesty's to do the Decrees, the Photo-Ops and the Politics. Going forth, let Your Majesty keep SAYING, "migrants don't come", but let your officials keep DOING, ''migrants welcome''.

Pure fiction and purely for entertainment.

When will you secure VISA to this Dolusia you keep disturbing us with?

Not in support of or negating p0rnstars heading leadership positions but quite a number of p0rnstars have been Democratic candidates and representatives. One of such is Roger_Montoya https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roger_Montoya who was a gay p0rnstar.

Some who are still serving as Democrat representatives have been busted for revenge p0rn and murder threats. For example, Aaron Coleman https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Coleman.

That already throws your claim to sanctimony out the window. You need to research these things first. smiley

Hunter is not an elected official and is a known buffoon so that does not concern anybody, besides all people with cultural knowledge know he said the word nigga with an a to a white man, and was used as a term of endearment, albeit foolish.

Learn the difference - Watsup ma nigga = a term of endearment. If a white man says that to another white man, he is just silly. If he says it to a black man, he might get punched for foolishness, but not for racism.

World of difference between both.

Have you considered that Faucci has something to hide and was openly against Trump.

https://conservative-daily.com/coronavirus/bombshell-fauci-increased-wuhan-funding-after-trump-banned-it

In mid-April of 2020, Donald Trump ordered the National Institutes of Health to cut all funding going to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the likely origin of Covid-19.

Trump's move was common sense. The United States should not be funding dangerous virus experimentation in sub-par Chinese laboratories.

As we have since learned, the NIH wasn't directly funding the lab. Instead, they were funding researchers who worked at and with the lab, along with a sub-grant to EcoHealth Alliance. Basically, the money was being laundered. NIH gave the funding to EcoHealth, who in turn gave it to the Wuhan Lab. This gave Anthony Fauci plausible deniability since he could legitimately claim that he wasn't directly funding the lab...

Well, Trump's Presidential Order was clear. No funding was to go to the Wuhan Lab. Trump identified that 3.7 Million was being given to the lab through EcoHealth and he ordered an immediate halt to it on April 17, 2020.

The very next day after Trump issued his order, EcoHealth President Peter Daszak sent Anthony Fauci an email "thanking" him for defending the Wuhan Lab against the claims that they were responsible for leaking or releasing the virus.

Well, four months later, Fauci not only restored EcoHealth's funding, but also DOUBLED it. Instead of the 3.7 million they had been getting, Fauci upped it to 7.5 million so they could keep studying coronavirus samples

Who cares if he is an elected official? Have you said this about Michael Cohen, guiliani and other trump associates the deepstate are going after?

Why does the clown shoe fit you guys so perfectly anything someone criticize someone on the left especially hunter? You have heard Tdotbluejays1 echoed this "he is not elected official" so you want to try it like it makes sense. Are only elected officials exposed to scrutiny? If so what have you been doing attacking people that are not elected?

No white man should say nigga or nigger because both words are the same.

You guys go around calling people coon and nazi but are fast to defend a white man that uses the Nword and say blacks are not smart.

Look at you making excuses. Telling me to learn the difference when a white man say nigger or nigga, how does the mud taste on the boot?

What if he says the word nigger to a white man? What will you call it?

Cohen and Giuliani were the legal representatives of an elected official and inserted themselves into matters of public Governance. Learn the difference, mugu.

People like you are just living in a bubble.

. John Focke

The former Charlotte Hornets broadcaster John Focke was fired for mistakenly using the N-word in reference to the Hornets-Nuggets game, typing the N-word instead of “Nuggets.” He deleted the tweet and apologized for the mistake, writing, “Earlier today I made a horrific error while attempting to tweet about the Denver-Utah game.”

Lawrence Rosen

Lawrence Rosen, a professor emeritus of anthropology at Princeton University, came under criticism after using the N-word during a class on “hate speech, blasphemy, and pornography”:

According to the Daily Princetonian, Rosen posed an unusual hypothetical about the offensiveness of the epithet. Based on the context of the class, according to student accounts, Rosen did not have to use the word to get his point across.

He reportedly posed the following question: “What is worse, a white man punching a black man, or a white man calling a black man a n*****?”

Rosen eventually ended up having to cancel the course due to the controversy over his use of the N-word.

Rose Salseda

Last year, Rose Salseda, a Stanford University art and history professor, was removed from the university’s website after “being accused of singing along to a rap song by N.W.A. including a racial slur.” She later apologized to the Stanford community.
