Touch screen controls have advantage over controller to some extent.

I think the apps they use are apps that kind of clone a profile for the game u want to use controller with.

But this cloned copy doesn't consume any additional space coz it makes use of same game u installed in ur android without altering ur progress in the main installed copy.

I too play with controller some times when I don't have immediate access to my Ps4 console.

I use an app call Panda Game pad pro, but after seeing the Ops video I guess there are better apps out there for doing this stuff. I will try his method and see...
