In a few words
Most often the cost factor is what drives them to smaller cities . In smaller cities though the cost of living is lower , chances of finding a job are slimmer. Additionally you will find that in smaller cities less people speak English. Therefore most jobs will require polish in smaller cities.
On the other hand big cities like Warsaw have a much more higher cost of living. However you will have more chances of getting a job in Warsaw . More English speakers in Warsaw and more jobs for English speakers .

Hello . Can I live in Warsaw with 400€ a month Rents included ??
Also when does application for February School starts ? Which university starts school in February ?

Thanks for your response. But it didn't fit my case bcus I'm living in Germany and trying to be her sponsor. So in this case plz do u have an idea what to do?

I have covered your case above:

Use credit card option. Fund a cash back credit card with the money she needs to cover one year of expenses including her tuition.
Re: Polish Student Visa by necz: 2:41pm On Jun 12, 2021
Better use bank to avoid weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Go to Sterling, Heritage or FCMB: Tell them you want to use FORM A to pay your tuition fee. It's cheap, reliable and fast than giving your tuition fee to someone you don't know to pay for you.

I pity many of you guys on this platform.

Hey bro...is the person available to help with the tuition fees Payment as well? Cos i haven't paid mine

Ok thanks. I'm paying her tuition on monday directly from here. I was just hoping that a German issued sponsor letter will cover her with the polish embassy in Nigeria. Thanks

Pls note polish Embassy does not like the use of foreign sponsors for whatever reason. So if she does not have any Nigerian based sponsor Then I will suggest you fund a cash back credit card in her name at any first bank or access bank in Nigeria . Then she request that they give her a certificate of credit card limit in her name upon request. This way she can come across as self sponsored.

If she is going for bsc I will strongly recommend
You try to get a Nigerian based sponsor . History has shown.that the embassy prefers bsc candidates to have a sponsor (Nigerian based)

The school will give you an accurate answer. So write to the school directly.
The school has no hostel.
I see them recommend studentdepot.pl

Then you can ask the school to help you by giving you some better websites to search for accommodation. So that you won't make mistake by paying for an apartment that is too far away from the school.

Thanks.
I'm not the user sourcing for an apartment thou.

Both for two years MSc or three years bachelors degree, you have to multiply it by 12 months because they issue only one year visa each time you apply. When the visa expires you have to extend your visa with the results of the previous year in other to keep studying. Remember that you have to follow instructions from the Polish embassy website as it stated it clearly that it should be multiplied by 12 months. Don't do what you assume. Do as the embassy instructed.
Thanks for this explanation

I'm looking to apply to a university in Lodz, what are the possibilities of getting a part-time job that can pay a bit in that city?
Do you think Lodz as a city is a good option for English-speaking students

Quick question boss.
I read on the website visa decisions are issued within 15-60 days.
What's the average duration for getting a response on the visa application?. It's been 15 days since i submitted at the consulate. Would like to know what the situation was in your case. Thanks.

It can be self sponsored don’t get me wrong pls read my previous message again . It’s only a recommendation. My recommendation is based on my observation from previous candidates in the past. It still remains my recommendation but not an embassy requirement . I’m not the consular . So anyone can choose to follow my recommendation or not follow my recommendation.

I believe The consular looks at your application in its entirety and not only the financial requirements .
What may work for A may not work for B and vice versa.Though financial requirements are one of the clauses most applicants fail to meet.

One more question please. When i get the consulate email for the decision, do i get to know the outcome from the mail or i only get that when i go in person?.

You will not get decision by email. What happens is the day you go to submit your application they will give you a ticket with a collection date on it. You can return to pick up your passport any day after that collection date. You can just email them
To ask if your passport is ready before u go collect but they will not tell u if u got visa or not by email

*NOT FOR OFFICIAL USE* is boldly written on my student’s copy of transcript. Uniport people can relate.

Will they accept that for legalization since I don’t have access to the official copy?
